Forgot to add, i don't use any cutter for removing the tails of the wire, i just wiggle them round and round (washing machine method) until they snap (pretty much two seconds) just like all other atties i build.

I use pretty much the same method as Tom post, as for the wick i use basic organic cotton not too tight and not too loose and snip the ends just enough that each end will touch the top base and hover right above each channel.....pretty much like my old kayfun guide |

First of all, thanks to paulymeatballs for the great review that made me think of getting one, and thanks to fiddles for linking the FT one  The Orchid V4 arrived two days ago and is working a treat. Kinda easy to coil Good flavour Hits like a truck No dry hits so far Leak free so far First of i will say that using it the normal way of vaping i don't see much difference between this and a basic kanger product but using it with DLI is  jesus my throat and the vapor was intense (this is now my normal method when using it) BUT the way i see it for just over £8.00 you get something that is more versatile than a kanger product and a lot cheaper Also a big gratz for the speedy delivery from FT  This is my setup for it:  Not sure if i can go higher on the watts side of things, maybe paulymeatballs can give some info on that judging by the wire etc i am using above.....never really been a duel coil experimenter. Piccy of it on my home made mod:  Again, bargain for just over £8.00........Kayfun move aside Tease-smiley |

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH why is this tiny device trying to fry my cotton wool? PT2 with airflow; mini PT, aerotank; and the PT2 with normal base just doesn't register! I am getting very frequent burnt hits, not just odd ones, but lots of them.......even when I turn the blummin thing right down to the lowest watts or volts. I'm going to recoil some of the tanks, and rewick to see if I did something wrong but to be honest they work fine on the mvp I am one very unhappy bunny This happened to the OH one she has, i just switched it over from VW too VV and all sorted. |

Sounds like the centre pin you loosened as caused the problem, sounds like something on the centre screw is touching something inside.
