Forgot to add Marcus if you want i can borrow you my reamers and i think i have a spare hammond box plus lots of solder and wire and flux/epoxy/heat shrink you can borrow, just need to pay for postage for me to send it to you and you will need to post it back when you are finished. Think i have enough spares for you to make a mod.

Forgot to add to my previous post (how rude of me).......cracking piece of work VapingBad ............ looks great m8 Marcus tools needed are: Taper Reamer 3 - 12mmSoft-Grip Needle File SetDrill 3mm holes for your 510 and buttons and use the Taper Reamer to make the holes bigger to the size you need, please note though even though the reamer says 3-12 that is from tip to the end, so to get a full 12mm out of it is not possible as when you twist it into the hole into the box the end of it will hit the inside of the box before it reaches the full length...should be perfectly fine if using tactile buttons but if you are using the larger buttons that require a 18mm hole than you will require a larger reamer. As for the cut-out for the display, mark it out on the box and drill a hole in each corner (must be inside the area you have marked out) then either...........Easy way would be to use a dremel and cut from drill hole to drill hole and then finely file the rest by hand to give a nice smooth cut-out or the hard way would be to file from drill hole to drill hole and then finely file the rest by hand to give a nice smooth cut-out. If you need any further help just PM me as i don't want to hog vapingbads post. Cheers Jason

Cheers for the info. I'm gonna start with a hammond box so only cutting will be for 510 and fire button Cheers for the inspiration to have a go... Dremel will be great for that, Super-Shiny has a couple of great threads with those and would be a great person to ask about them & now I've tagged him maybe he could post or PM the links to those threads. Marcus i will give you some links later for some very cheap tools that is needed for the hammond box.

Also, if a part becomes defective in a home build, it can be repaired/changed at home without sending it back to manufacturer and paying handsomely for the pleasure. +1 to this....also a home made mod is easily better made than some of them pre-made ones out there, the wiring and glue they use on some is Also you get to choose how exactly how you want it to be as i find all box mods out there always has something that spoils it. But if you want stress free and and don't care about the above and have the money than

jcol making your own mod nowadays won't save you any money BUT making your own knowing you built it by your own hands easily out weighs a pre-made one.....it is stressful but at the same time fun especially when you get close to the completed item.

V4 has a taller chimney doesn't it? I seriously get lost with what's what.. Everyday there is a new one out with a slight variation.. Copied and Pasted from FT: Tobeco says "Orchid V4 is a superb Kayfun-style RBA. Version 4 features three redesigned tank sections that create a more elegant look, a Delrin insulated drip tip to regulate the temperature of your vape, and a redesigned top cap. Phillips post screws replace the original problematic hex screws. This clone by Tobeco is definitely a tank that should be in every vaper’s collection. The chimney is adjustable to set up the wick in the channels just right for that perfect vape." Ain't got a clue if it's true or not as i don't have previous versions, only yesterday ordered the V4

In my opinion the Orchid is far better vape (clouds & taste) than kayfun, it has four channels dual, air flow etc it is like a dripper but with tank look here under £8 V4 listed today Just ordered one to try, at that price it would be silly not to...if it's shite than in the bin it goes

I have had nothing but good service from Greyhaze on all orders i have placed with them, even when mistakes was made (very rare).
But as with all things in life some things can turn from good to bad....saying that the bad things can easily be resolved with feedback.
