Well one year ago today I smoked my last cigarette (3.15 to be precise!)

The week before I was looking at stuff on the internet and saw an advert for ecigs. They wanted £35 for a cig alike but I didn't want to spend that on something I didn't think would work. I did an internet search and found one for a tenner.
Hubby said go for it, get him one too. So clickedy click and they were on their way.

In the mean time I spotted one In a local tabac for €10, so bought one to try. It was the size of a scaffold pole and about the same weight! I needed to use 2 hands just to use it lol. It tasted rank and lasted about 3 puffs thankfully!. I was hoping the ones we had coming would taste better,

Anyway, they arrived the following week along with some cherry flavored juice and we stuck them on charge.
I had to go and pick my daughter up from the airport and timed it so I would smoke my last fag just as I arrived there.
On the way back I started to use the ecig, and haven't looked back. Hubby was just using his last few fags up when I got home and then he started using his.

We didn't realize that the battery life was pants and hubby ended up smoking 5 cigs when he was fishing as his battery died. So the next thing we did was buy a charging case for them which came with extra batteries and more carts.
We took the next step and he bought us some ego/ce4 kits from England. Omg what a difference. Ill never knock the cigalikes as they stopped us smoking.

Hubby says 'surely we can get it cheaper direct from china' so More internet searching and I came across Dh gate. I can buy things cheaper direct from china! So one large order later and we are set up for a few months. In the mean time converted 4 friends here and ordered them stuff too.

More internet searching and I came across this invaluable site. The wonderful aaec. I may not post much but am reading it every day! And here is where I found fasttech! Thankyou so much to everyone here.
We are now using twists, mini vivi novas, iclear 16's and the wonderful MVP. (Our vaperversary presents to each other) and I mix our own liquids.

I always said I would give up smoking when I moved to France 5 years ago but it didn't happen until I discovered the wonderful world of vaping. I'd given up before with tablets but went back, then with patches but got addicted to sweets instead and ended up having a funny turn and going to hospital. Got a bit scared to stop again after that.

Anyway, that's my vaping story and here's to the next year and more!

Sometimes that happens to me, not just on here, Facebook too. I've found if I turn my iPad off then on again, the videos work. Might be worth a try.
