What is it you're trying to achieve? Generally, you need water-based liquids, never oil-based as this screws up the coil/atty. If you want to use menthol crystals, you'll need some PG as they don't dissolve very well in VG. @ashmal has had some interesting results steeping herbs in vodka, you could have a go at that  |

Thanks Jen I think splitting it is a good idea. When I look at the mixing vendors page, the boots VG is the only one marked as needing dilution. Is that because it's a different type of VG to that from other vendors? I've used Boots VG and Dr Oetker VG - I've diluted both. Are you maybe getting confused between VG and AG (aqueous glycerine)? AG has normally been pre-diluted by vape vendors/manufacturers |

I'm getting so much conflicting opinion on whether to thin the VG with vodka. Do people only thin them when making up liquids with a high VG content? Also, if it is thinned with vodka or water, does this need to be taken into account when calculating mixes or do people treat it as pure VG? To make it easy on yourself: Dilute your VG with 10% DIW, and treat it as VG. That's what I do, and it saves me so much time faffing with the calculators and so on. Never had a juice turn out too thin or what have you, works every time in terms of vapour. I mix at 80% VG, meaning I use 20% flavouring which are usually PG; the rest is VG. Yes, some folks say you don't need to dilute your VG if you're mixing with a high percentage of PG and so on. If you're worried, only dilute half your VG and experiment yourself |

Hi Jen, The clearo is polycarbonate /DCT . I use the pipe 618 myself makes you feel like a proper english gentlemen/madam  Thanks Alex - it is a very tempting price, especially with the 15% discount - shall have to see what the bank account says come payday  How long does it take the batteries to charge, by the way? And is the button in the bowl or elsewhere? Can't quite tell! I do fancy being a proper English gentlewoman |

Sorry Jen you must've missed my announcement on these  Because these flavours contain diacetyl I decided not to stock them, they do now do a range of flavourings that do not contain diacetyl but these are more expensive  Awwwww! Big dislike!  But probably sensible! Missing announcements seems to be more prevalent these days since the last Proboards update thingy - it boots me off a thread now according to my last 30 posts and not time since posting, meaning I miss stuff a lot more. Lord knows it doesn't take me long to rack up 30 posts!  |

You will definitely want to consider getting into mixing at some point then - after the initial spend on set-up, you can produce 10ml of juice for around £1  |

Erm...the Onion is a spoof/satire site This doesn't seem to have sunk in yet. :/ (I've seen this phenomenon before. A friend of a friend on facebook getting incredibly enraged over an article in The Onion saying that Lady Gaga was going to have some of her limbs amputated as a fashion statement.) If you think about it, though, isn't that kind of the point of satire? It's so fake it's real. Might be a bit much for a Friday morning, brain hurts now!  |

The Evod They only have a short wick, so if you rinse and dry burn it gets rid of most of the previous flavour. Spare atty heads (for when you really want to get rid) are about £2 each. |

OMG, Super-Shiny, I think I've made one for you...it's soooo sweet! Kinda nice, but only in small doses for me:  Needs a good fortnight+ to steep. Would also consider adding some acidic fruit (blackcurrant maybe) to tone it down a bit, it's really sugary. |
