OK, I've added the dalek one & one of the spam ones  I've also just added a plug in so you can add up to 25 personal smilies to your profile I'll start a new thread about how to add your personal smilies as soon as I've sorted out a couple of screen shots. In the meantime, if anyone wants to have a go, just click on your profile, then "edit profile" & choose "settings" scroll down to the bottom. Add direct links from Photobucket etc & click "set changes" Then save account settings   It works!  |

My posties, both here and my old address, have just shoved recorded/signed for items through the letterbox without ringing the doorbell or knocking on numerous occasions. I know, cos I work from home, and I'm in all day every day during the week.
We have received mail for someone living at the same number 2 streets away, presumably they've also had ours. This could be all kinds of identity-stealing kit and sensitive information. I complained many, many times and was just fobbed off with an apology and promises of it never happening again. Which it promptly did.
We had a redirect going for the last 3 months after we moved, the postie recently knocked on (a miracle in itself), and handed me a pile of redirected mail. Unfortunately, it was for someone with the same surname and house number, but wrong street and postcode. The postie was absolutely flabberghasted when I handed it him back, stared at it for about 2 minutes in complete astonishment, and looked at me like it was my fault when the evidence was literally staring him in the face.
I give up. RM couldn't find their arses with an atlas.

How did walking barefoot correct an eye problem? Because you had to pay more attention to where you walked? That's amazing I happily walk barefoot around my house/indoors, but was massively put off doing it outside by an incident in my teens. My cat at the time was a proper mouser and had left me a little present just in front of the patio step where I couldn't see it as I strode outside all unwary...I'll never forget that nasty little crunch! It still makes me shudder to remember it. Gah!! |
