great guide romlee but no good for the EVOD as you already stated there is a second wick on top of the coil so you cant see down the tube to dry burn

personaly I never soak them waist of time rinse under the tapblow excess water off dry burn refill job donr 5 mins tops

think my last mesh recoil was about 4 weeks I just dry burn with ejuice in
vape down to about a mm then lay the aga on its side with wick at the top dry burn might take about 2 or 3 mins to burn juice off then I mess with the coils get them glowing evenly again
change the ss mesh wick couple of times hotspots seem to burn holes in them
now running ss wire 2 mm with ss mesh around the top same dry burn procedure d
think the wick will last forever just replace the mesh
only trouble I am having is I have to run with fill screw out or it dont wick properly but I did run the ss mesh down into the hole

i just rap them lay the wick on a pin so the coils arnt to tight (maybe you strangled them the first time )
as for wraps depends what im coiling and which mod i run it on,if its ss mesh ss wire, silica, normal kanthel or flat
basic principle is the same normaly 2mm silica the evod gets 2mm with another 2mm on top
one of my dripers gets 2 lengths of 2mm just go with the flow

apparently its not how big it is its how you use it quote must have been from a man with a small mod
