I'd also seriously consider the MVP from fasttech, no vw but honestly it's the best mod out of the 3 for me. www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004594/1390901-innokin-itaste-mvp-2600mah-voltage-adjustableThe ithaka from Fast Tech is quite simply the best thing I've bought from them to date. I'd even go as far as to say it's as well built and performs just as good as my Kayfun Lite. It's a bugger to set up first time though, but do it once and it gets easier. E2A: definitely avoid the ithaka if you are a novice.

Apparently this was a great success last year and there are ambitions to make it bigger and better this year. Hopefully the events list will be brought up to date soon so you will be able to find something to join in with near you, or even arrange something yourself and let the World Vaping Day Organisers know about it. Even if you cannot attend an event you can still be involved. www.facebook.com/groups/551763694834340/?fref=ts

The top set is from the Fasttech version. They are so close, I had to be careful not to get them mixed up Tried switching some of the parts and they seem to fit fine between versions. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the centre post has the same parts as well. This picture swayed me to buy one of the FT Ithaka clones and after using it for half a day now I'm glad I did. Very well made and great performance. A bit of a faff first time setting it up, but now I've done it once it shouldn't be too difficult to do again. Thanks for a the pic Steve. A bargain.

Really good meeting all of the forum people at vapefest and far to many to name individually.
Had a great time and cannot wait to for the next LSE meet and vapefest 2014.

Just been looking at the recipe for this, which lists PA RY4 as an ingredient. Am I right in thinking this should this be "RY4 Type", rather than "RY4 Double" or "RY4 Asian"? Just been looking at the recipe for this, which lists PA RY4 as an ingredient. Am I right in thinking this should this be "RY4 Type", rather than "RY4 Double" or "RY4 Asian"? I would say that's a correct assumption! Sorry yes it is RY4 Type, thank you for pointing it out. chykensa could you please update the recipe in the recipes forum?

That's an excellent price for a genuine EVOD kit. Anyone thinking of getting one. Believe me when I say you'll be hard pushed to buy a better quality eGo type kit than a kanger Evod one. They are excellent quality and perform better than any other eGo type kit I've tried....and I've tried a good few now. It is good isn't it Mark . . . though I don't think there's a discount code on it, checking back. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/27259/evod-starter-kits-28-99?page=1&scrollTo=499306But at that price it's still well worth getting. With a dissy code it's even better. I have no end of Mods to choose from, but it's always a toss up between my evods or the smok epipe for out and about discreet use.

There's this Evod starter kit that looks like a pretty good deal to me Phil . . . with our forum discount code it will be even better: myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlI've also bought the Fasttech Evod clones and have been lucky as mine have been trouble free, but as Fred says, others have not been so fortunate. I have some of these and they are very well made and solid drippers. The only problem is they are not rebuildable. Seems such a waste to make these to the quality that they are only for them to be disposable.

I received my SMOK-a-like epipe from Fast Tech today.
I already own an original SMOK one and absolutely love it and it goes everywhere with me.
One the outside there is very little difference between the two. The SMOK fire button sits a little higher than the copy and it has a more solid feel to the spring in the button when firing. All the parts are interchangeable and it really is hard, if not impossible to tell the difference.
When you open it up is when you notice a few differences. For a start the base spring is different the SMOK one is either copper or brass (?) and the copy isn't. Not sure what it's made of and it does look like it's coated with something, but after trying to sand it down it's definitely not coated.
Also on the inside of the SMOK the wire from the 510 connector to the button is covered by some plastic tubing. The copy isn't and the wire is exposed albeit insulated.
The threads are also a little stiff on the copy.
In terms of performance there really isn't much difference so far. Both fire every time.
All the copy would need is a hot spring and it's would be as good as the SMOK in that department.
In summary I'd give the SMOK 9/10 (I adore this little mod) and the copy 7/10.
So if you are planning to buy one then you won't go far wrong with either.

A little off topic, but the Siam Mod tubes for the Evic are well worth considering too.
Top quality crafted items.
