After 40 years of smoking thats a massive achievment  Well done, don't beat yourself up if you still smoke, 40 year habits are hard to break. I only smoked for half that time. Bought my 1st ecig only as a new gadget, not to stop smoking. At the time I didn't realise it could replace smoking. I was an accidental quiter, not had 1 cig since my first 901 kit arrived. Found out I prefered vaping. It was a little experiment to see how long I could go without a rollup, im still going lol. The first couple of days smoke free weren't hard for me, but felt a little uncomfortable, about as bad as a light cold. Im convinced it was withdrawal from the chemicals in tobacco. It only lasted 2 days. Everyones experience is different. Some people still smoke a few after years of vaping. And some accidently stop as its nicer. Theres no correct way of doing it. Could you imagine you'd only be smoking 4 a day? Just do what feels right, especially with all the stress. You've made a great start already. Good luck (sorry for waffling on  ) |

Especially with an LR901 atty, Frooty  Although the batteries can be variable  If you can bear to put you bonus money in a safe place, Wotsie, I'd wait and see how your new mod performs - you may be able to put a tank atty on or... all sorts. scylla  So I thought until an LR atty killed mine.  Top half of the SD was getting very hot so had to retire him. He or should it be She, gave great service for over a year and a half of very heavy use. May have been fixable but I just used my spare black one bought in a sale. I've heard of a few being killed with LR atties, and even more have had no problems. Mine was great until it happened  Im not risking another one though. |

Nearly 2 years with the ScrewDriver, cheap batteries from China. Small, looks good imo, tough and reliable. Best money I've spent.

I remember a few people were annoyed when Garry brought out his mods, with accusations of copying. As far as I know a lot of the stuff is available on the net showing you how to make boxmods and the like with some good guides. I doubt anyones going to claim design rights to them There will be one I suspect. The first device which used big batteries was the ScrewDriver. (That became available to buy) and see how many people have copied that. Or used it as a guide to create there own. A lot of people even nicked the name. Now the name SD gets used for all sorts of copycat devices but really theres only 2 real SDs. The ones Trog makes and the ones he's licensed to be made in China. Theres no blatent rip offs going on here as far as I can see. Its not like they're being sold for £70. More like helping people out who cant make there own, or vapers that can't afford to pay a lot of money for the latest greatest invention. Just my 2c |
