Just a quick question for all those that have been at this vaping game a wee while. What would you say is your most trusted and used e-cig? I am thinking of buying a new system and would like some hints or tips as to which way to go as there are soooo sooooo soooo many new bright and wonderful things out there. I love my Tornado and Riva thingies but the batteries are on the expensive side and I was wondering would it be better to go for a whole new system. At the moment this is only to get the best value long term rather than having the next big thing (Im sure that will come). I dont mind paying a bit for it if it will last me ages. In terms of what I like vapour production is number one, then flavour and lastly TH. I vaping at about 2.5mg atm so TH doesnt really factor into it. But I do like big whacking great clouds of vapour. Any help would be great Thanks

wotsit,
I have to say, for me, that tornegorivas have been my most reliable vape..... I think a decent box mod will give the better reliability and, once you've invested in the batteries and charger, you're good to go. I'm with you on the clouds of vapour!!

Thanks Lynda I have just won Tonys box mod and really looking forward to using it so maybe that will cover my battery dilema. Im doing that daft squirrel thing where I would like to have a bit of a stock of stuff and I am getting two months expenses this month as I didnt claim last time. Thought I would get some bits in for when I have a poor period.

Nearly 2 years with the ScrewDriver, cheap batteries from China. Small, looks good imo, tough and reliable. Best money I've spent.

Especially with an LR901 atty, Frooty Although the batteries can be variable If you can bear to put you bonus money in a safe place, Wotsie, I'd wait and see how your new mod performs - you may be able to put a tank atty on or... all sorts. scylla

I have a question for you wotsit
If your happy with your vapour of choice why upgrade ?
If your going to start being a kleptomaniac like the rest of us go for second hand as you may not like what you buy.
I can whole heartedly recommend an SD mk2 which you can pick up for £20 to £30 S/H or if your wanting a bigger battery that's lasts a few days how about one of the thai cyclops mods ? With it's 18650 battery's that cost £5.99 for two battery's and £6 for the charger from dinodirect it'll only set you back just over £35 for the mod batts and charger.

I'd echo Camper's recommendations, Wot . . . although I do like my GGTB's very much and use them a lot at home.

Top half of the SD was getting very hot so had to retire him. He or should it be She, gave great service for over a year and a half of very heavy use. May have been fixable but I just used my spare black one bought in a sale. I've heard of a few being killed with LR atties, and even more have had no problems. Mine was great until it happened Im not risking another one though.

Thanks everyone. So it seems the SDMII is the thing then? Or the Cyclops? Going to go and have a look for that as its not something I have really seen before. Camperman... the reason why Im looking for something eles even though I am happy with the Tornorivas is because....well it prob does boil down to wanting something new and shinny but the inital thought was to do with battery longevity. I have read that some folks think its daft to be paying 15 quid for a tornado battery when better options are arround. But as much as I dont want to be someone who spends more on vaping than on fags and has every new thing on the market I do have that thing that makes me want to just buy, buy, buy...
Perpy.. I like the GGTB. Yep really like that one.
Anyways will keep looking and considering before spending any money. I have enough bits to last me a while but still WANT a something. Just dont know what that is yet :0)

I'd have to say that the GGTB is as close to the knees of a buzzing insect that I have been..

wotsit,
The SD didn't do anything for me but that means nothing really. Some people swear by it and I just wanted to swear AT it. Be aware that these big battery mods weigh more and are less discrete than our Tornegorivas. You might find that you love your box mod when it arrives and will not want to spend out on anything else.
The cost of batteries and charger will soon be recouped and will stand you in good stead for other mods that might tickle your fancy. (not sure I should have used those words now we have a Camper on site..)

Lol Lynda! Given the choice between a GGTB & SD, I know which one I'd choose Wot and that's no disrespect to my second choice . . . out of my mods my two most favs have to be the GGTB with LR901's and the SB with LR510's. But, I do take Tornados/Rivas to work as they fit more discreetly into a pocket.
