I've been vaping away on my butterfly bait today - yum. Only left it to steep for a week. I will be making some more. Can't quite put my finger on the flavours in it though. I mixed some of chrisjw 's champagne surprise

I find if you keep inhaling for a second or two after releasing the button on the battery it helps to minimise this.

I've been to busy to mix again I'm vaping some Butterfly Bait that's been steeping for just over 2 weeks. I wasn't sure at first as I popped in in a new Iclear, but now the wick on the iclear has bedded in, I can't put it down Wish I had made more than 10ml ! I've just mixed some of this today - I mixed at 15% What % did you go?

Without every ones help, explaining what I need and what to watch out for, I would not have made it this far, If some one said within three months, you will have packed the fags in after 30 years of smoking, I would have said never. Its been a big learning curve, but are loving every minute of it. Sounds just like me 30 years on B&H! Just over 3 months off them and can't see me ever going back to them - 2 trial puffs to see what it was like and it was And now I mix my own juice too Great feeling isn't it

DanI spent £40 (over 2 vendors) to buy all the bits and bobs to get me started on mixing. This included a few extra flavours over the vanilla custard ones so that I could try a few other recipes too. Hi Karen How you getting on with it though? One thing I'm not looking forward to is having to wait for the first mix to steep to find out if you have it right.. I hate waiting two days for the postman and so a month to find out if I do indeed like a certain flavour (custard for example) would kill me! Hi Dan I'm getting on great with it all. If you stick to members recipes to start with you know that they are tried and tested so will turn out ok. You can then make the odd tweak to suit your personal tastes - so a bit more vanilla if you want your PVC more vanillay etc. I've tried a couple of my own mixes and have worked on the assumption of needing about 20% flavour overall. I've downloaded Planet of the Vapes juice calculator to my phone and find it easy to use and I tend to work in ml rather than drops. The 1ml syringes are graded in tenths of a ml, I've just used drops for sweetener and vape wizard as they generally just use 2 or 3 drops per 10ml. It does require a bit of patience waiting for them to steep. Custards are best after 3 weeks but I've vaped them after 2 - I've now got a little production line going so there is some steeping while I'm vaping others. Menthol is ready to vape pretty much straight away and fruits are ready after only a few. As to the costs - yes the first month or so you tend to be spending as much, if not a bit more, than the cigarettes but then it levels out. Once you're stocked up with batteries, clearos, juices and mixing kits then your outlay should be minimal. Any other shineys you need want is down to willpower. It's like clothes and meals out - you spend what you decide you want to and can afford.

The lack of availability of GVC was the thing which finally pushed me into the mixology. Exactly the same here. I'd had a browse of the mixology boards and thought it might be something I would do one day but being unable to get any GVC (emailed and no reply from Grant) I decided to take the plunge and it's been much easier to get my head round than I thought it would be. I'm really enjoying my PVC by Perpetua - not quite the same as GVC but certainly good enough for my taste buds. I've made my own version with a few tweaks which is steeping as we speak. And I'm also really enjoying greendollar 's VCX and will be mixing some of that too, now that he's divulged the recipe thought I was going to have to beat it out of him

OK , OK I get the hint ....thank you all for the great feedback , I thought I'd managed to crack a decent vanilla custard mix so I've messaged Perps & asked her to put the recipe up in the mixology/recipe section Great news! Will definitely be mixing some of this nectar

I would be interested in one that was like gold cafe creme cigars for my husband. Haven't been able to find anything similar so far. Blimey, that's a bit of a jump. From a cigar like juice to gold cafe creme. Asking a bit much there I'm afraid. I was thinking it would be like the tobacco flavours where you can get ones like Bensons or like L&B. Not having been a cigar smoker myself I don't really know all the ins and outs
