Not sure how well it would go in a Kanger or an Evod as it is flat rather than rounded - the 1mm for instance is actually about 2mm wide. You might be better off with a standard 2mm silica wick. Just noticed one of the reviews on the ECW page RE: Ekowool says "I have used this wick in everything from ce5, vivi novas to clockwork rda's and aga t's with no problem at all. Had great wicking properties and have no nasty taste to it at all." so maybe I'll be able to get it to work in my eVod I just hope I didn't make a mistake going for the 2mm instead of the 1mm...hmmm I'll post back here and let you know how I get on with it in the T3/eVod You can get Kanthal from Dee on this site, great quality and very fast service. I think she only charges 60p for postage which normaly arrives next day, great service. Thanks m8 I'll keep that in mind for the future

I just went to get some 2mm Ekowool from ecigwizard but I'm not paying £1.99 postage when it'll only cost them 60p or 90p at worse! I signed up for an account first and it said I had been given 100 "wiz" points so I put that toward my order and it brought the postage down to about 70p, but If I buy more I'll get it from Cloud9. The other day I had to pay Alba-Vapours almost £4 postage for a little spool of kanthal! I'm guessing alot of these places have had people pulling a fast one & saying their orders didn't arrive so now they only do tracked/signed for shipping...but even so, alba's postage was a rip off

cheers all I think I'm just a bit overley health conscious at the moment, I've re-wicked my eVod now with the wick I got from Xandrey and it turned out great... I think now that the wick is soaked in liquid, those fibers aren't going anywhere. I've ordered a metre of 2mm Ekowool from ecigwizard just out of curiosity and will order a couple of metres from Terry. Thanks again, really appreciate it.

Well I just recieved my wick and wire to re-build my kanger T3 & eVod The wire (Kanthal A1 0.20mm) seems fine, got it from Alba-Vapours. The wick, I got from Xandrey on UKV..please bear in mind that this is the first time I've bought silica wick so I'm not sure if this is normal & everyone in Xandrey's thread seems very happy with the wick. It came in a little plastic baggy, a few small parts of the wick along it's 5m length are quite frayed and tatty looking and on closer inspection the entire inside surface of the baggy is coated in zillions of tiny fibres. When I rub the end of the wick with my thumbnail it breaks up into lots of little clumps of fibres. Im not going to lie, I'm a little concerned about it. I don't want to post my negative thoughts on his forum thread as this is all probably fine and normal. Anyway..I've been doing a bit of research into different wick options and found a thread with these pictures: my wick is just like the stuff at the bottom of the above photo (after scratching the end a bit). The wick on the left is apparently called an "Ekowool silica cord" and doesn't release all those tiny fibres any thoughts?..and has anyone tried the Ekowool cord or know where to buy it?

Hi Lynn sorry to hear about your Mum and I hope she's feeling better soon, best of luck with finding her something to help beat the urge to fire up a smoke.

Thankyou Perpetua I'm sure I'll have lot's of questions when the time comes but I'm going to do alot of reading and youtube'ing on this subject first before I even attempt it so I'll be aware of the main do's & don'ts. I've always loved cooking and trying out different flavour combinations so mixing my own e-liquids is something I think I'll enjoy

Hi Monchai & nice review, I bought quite a few of the 5ml taster bottles from Vapourtine, I believe they are "Hangsen" liquids? The only 1 of your 3 I got in my order was the "Pinacolada", I think you must have got all the rum from my bottle in yours lol.. all I get from it is incredibly strong Pineapple (like the Pineapple cubes from a sweet shop) with a hint of Coconut. First few tokes are nice enough but it quickly becomes far too strong/sweet/sickly for my palette. I really like the Energy Cow/Black Cherry/Blueberry/Espresso from vapourtine but didn't like the Ginger/Mandarin/Apple Mix, they all tasted like inhaling a bar of flavoured soap or a glade plugin those 3 all smell nice enough but have the same, weird, perfumey after taste that I just couldn't enjoy. Oh...and I'm not a fan of Tobacco flavours so far but I've only tried the Dekang silver label "cuban cigar" and "drum" and they both tasted rank for me. Like sucking on John McCririck's deerstalker hat after he's had a long day smokin' cigars at the races. Having said that, I see RY4 mentioned again & again so I will have to try that one!

yep it's a nice little back-up kit mate you know, it's funny..I first thought I'd feel a bit daft with anything other than a cig-a-like in public but having joined these 2 uk forums I already don't care.. I'm stoked that I've made the switch to vaping, my lungs are already thanking me for it too, no more morning cough and I can breath in really deeply without wheezing..feels great. So at work and on nights out, when I get the craving, I whip out the eGo & evod & reprezent the vaping massive lol. (even though my mates say I look like I'm smoking some futuristic drug from a sci-fi film )

thanks Sam, andy & Pedaldog I have a couple of mini Egos and never thought of putting owt other than a basic Carto on there, they look good with the T3 and Evod. I was wondering about the little Liberro kit. Do you buy the Cartos from Liberro directly? yep the mini eGo & the eVod are great together, I do like the T3 but I prefer the eVod and will probably only buy those from now on. (my T5 has pretty much been relegated to the sidelines). I don't buy the Cartos from Liberro, I get empty ones from here now. Cartomizersthey were on a "yoyo" discount and cost me about £6 for 10 of them, they are back to £8.99 now but there is a 20% discount code (TECCFEB20) takes them down to about £7 for 10

thankyou everyone..great place you have here, loving the mini Ego & eVod that I bought, will definitely keep me vaping happily for a while.. but some of the "mods" are already catching my eye like this steampunk one seems interesting... although I'm not 100% sure what it is yet lol I guess it's for a battery and then you screw your atomizer on top?

Libbero Purity "Eskimo" (24mg) made by Decadent Vapours I've barely scratched the surface when it comes to different e-liquid so that may change in the coming weeks but I find it a lovely fresh & smooth all day vape. And from what I have read it seems I'm quite lucky to have found an all day vape so early on I've also been adding a bit of Hangsen "Black Cherry" or "Blueberry" to mix it up a bit, with very satisfying results.
