Hi all and thanks for all comments  No progress so far. We had a big family Wedding and yes, mum sneaked off for a few. Can't believe she got away with it and my brother still doesn't know. My daughter has bought me an E-cig. Not tried that one, but I bought a packet of Eshish ones, no nicotine, got a mixed pack, grape, apple etc. My plan is to smoke them at work, or at least to try smoking them instead of the odd 'real' cigarette. My excuse at the moment for not getting stuck in now, is my daughter came back to UK from OZ for the Wedding and we had to say our Goodbyes today, so I am not feeling that great at the moment  Take Care all x |

Wow, thanks again all for all comments and welcomes Still waiting to hear back from my brother. No, I don't think it has to look like a cigarette, but we shall see. My brother lives the closest to my mum (I live 2 hrs away) |

I have just read pages of stuff about e-cigarettes and am now just confused lol.
Of course I have heard of them, but I am now seriously looking into them on behalf of my mum and still do not know what is best to buy.
My mum is now 71 years old and has COPD.
Unfortunately, she still has the odd cigarette and after spending 4 weeks in America with friends, smoked quite alot.
On her return to the UK, her COPD flared up and she has just spent a night in hospital as her oxygen levels were 'dangerously low' and she hadn't eaten for five days.
Reading between the lines, I do not think she will give up smoking, so I have told her that my brother and I will get her started on e-cigs as surely these will be better for her to smoke than the 'real' thing?
Anyway, my serious search began and there are so many that I don't know what to do lol
I was going to take the plunge and just order these ones but thought I had better check here first.
Now the thing is, my mum does not have a computer (or any technology) so USB accessories will not be of use to her and of course money will be an issue as will ordering replacements (but my brother or I will have to sort the ordering/buying between us)
There is so much to read, that I decided to write this message instead, to see what advice any of you can offer us.
