The draw was a bit light so I trimmed a tiny bit off the tube and now the tip fits perfectly in the tube and part of the ceramic element holder is inside the tip, it's created the seal and improved the draw

I've just tried that cutting the loops, I've also left my knackered donut out, if you can centre the ceramic the black plastic tip fits over it and holds it place, working ok so far

I'll leave it in 'till the atty's blown then experiment or break it out. I'll be trying a differen tip next time as well as giving this one a rub down.
(I had to completely re-write this reply as my original one was practically a script for a blue movie)

My delrin drip tip is a tight fit, but I wouldn't say it get's stuck 0o didn't think that could happen! Did you have a hard time setting it in?! I do remember reading something, somewhere ( not being too precise here, sorry... Maybe someone does remember that too) about a supplier that sent thin sandpaper so people could "shave" it if they had difficulties putting it in... Once again not sure this talk was about drip tips but I'm pretty sure it was ! Hope you'll get the help you need, I can't go any further than this  Oh it was about drip tips Aldo, which is fortunate 'cos Scylla's reply had me sitting uncomfortably for a minute |

I've got one of those metal whistle tipped drip tips in a l/r 510 atomiser and it's firmly stuck. I've no chance of getting it out, it's solid, won't even twist sideways. Is this the norm? Do I have to wait 'till atty's cream crackered then break it out?

I added the water 'cos I thought it was needed for vg if you didn't add a splash of vodka. Methinks I'll forget the water and go for vodka instead.

No, I'm not bragging. I think one of the mistakes I make, especially when sitting at comp, is to start puffing on my tank either like I'm smoking a cig or constantly taking short draws.
I know it's wrong but I can't get out of the habit.

I don't mind menthol, in fact I quite like it. When I find a tobacco juice I like and a good RY4, I'm going to stick to them and a menthol for a while. Then when I'm either off the cigs or at least saving money I'll look into flavours/mixing.
TBH I've been like a kid in a sweet shop since I started vaping....oooo i'll try this or one of those lol.

I'm getting a bit wary about juices 'cos I've had a couple of bad experiences, 1 was a coffee, it wasn't too bad to start with but totally gummed up my atty, 2nd was RY4, I bought 10ml from tw and liked it, nice and caramely but not an all the time vape, seeing 30ml for a tenner somewhere else I bought that thinking money saved, it would have been if I liked strong liquorice, a different taste altogether.

Helloooo people, looks like I've found another forum to post my stupid questions.
I've been vaping for 2 weeks now and tbh I'm struggling a bit. Still smoking 10-12 cigs a day, though I was on 30+ a day 'till I bought a tank so it's an improvement.
I'm thicker than my bum at this vaping and seem to be chucking money away at moment trying different juices/attys etc. I can't find a juice that will finally get me over the smoking finishing line, if only it was as simple as picking a pie.
