Helloooo people, looks like I've found another forum to post my stupid questions.
I've been vaping for 2 weeks now and tbh I'm struggling a bit. Still smoking 10-12 cigs a day, though I was on 30+ a day 'till I bought a tank so it's an improvement.
I'm thicker than my bum at this vaping and seem to be chucking money away at moment trying different juices/attys etc. I can't find a juice that will finally get me over the smoking finishing line, if only it was as simple as picking a pie.

Hi i am an even newer newbie. I have had some lovely advice on this forum, the 2 that keep getting mentioned are Paradise Vapes, fantastic delivery and Totally Wicked DV juice. If you go on the sites they have reviews on their juices, if you aren't sure ring them telling them your preferences, sweet tooth, tobacco flavour or fruity etc and i am sure they will help. Sorry i am not much help but hopefully one of the more experienced vapors will be along to help.

I'm also pretty new to it, but can recommend the Benson Fences and LnB from Paradise.
Of the 2, I would say the LnB is the most cig like.
I also rate the Gold & Silver from Genesis (I think).
Stick at it and you will soon find the one that does the trick.

SOme folks suggest upping your nic content too if you are finding it a bit of a struggle to stop.
On the other hand any cig not smoked is brill so dont put loads of pressure on yourself to stop.
Well done :0)

I'm getting a bit wary about juices 'cos I've had a couple of bad experiences, 1 was a coffee, it wasn't too bad to start with but totally gummed up my atty, 2nd was RY4, I bought 10ml from tw and liked it, nice and caramely but not an all the time vape, seeing 30ml for a tenner somewhere else I bought that thinking money saved, it would have been if I liked strong liquorice, a different taste altogether.

Try some of the Paradise stuff, in the smallest bottle (think it's 5ml for £3). Postage is free.

Hello All... and welcome to the forums! On the subject of wasting money trying new flavours/kit... it's not a waste! Offer the ones you don't like for sale or trade in the classifieds or keep an eye on the Pay It Forward thread (also in Cassifieds). Stick at it, you'll get there in the end... and from 30 a day to 10/12 is still over 50% success rate! Sean

Hello Lardy! As everyone else has said really, it's a bit trial and error in the beginning, but you'll get there and don't be too hard on yourself for having a few ciggies whilst you're experimenting with ejuice.

Wonder if you like menthol flavours? Minty menthol ones tend to be harder to bugger up and most are vapable at least from each vendor. If you do like menthol maybe get a bottle to hold you over while your juice search is under way

I don't mind menthol, in fact I quite like it. When I find a tobacco juice I like and a good RY4, I'm going to stick to them and a menthol for a while. Then when I'm either off the cigs or at least saving money I'll look into flavours/mixing.
TBH I've been like a kid in a sweet shop since I started vaping....oooo i'll try this or one of those lol.

Hi Lardarse Another newbie here (around 6 weeks) that just can't seem to kick the last few fags. Have to say I'm feeling much more chilled about packing in the ones I'm still smoking since getting so many encouraging comments from the terrific folks on this forum. At the moment I've got SO many different flavour samples I'm spoilt for choice, but like you I haven't found 'the one'. Still I'm having loads of fun (and a few aaaack moments!) trying them all out. Today I'm really enjoying Flu Cured from Paradise Vapes (bargain at £3 for 5ml with free P&P and really quick delivery), it's definitely hitting the spot for me. Like you with the attys too, but found the clearomizers (from i-Vapour) are fab and definitely proving to be my favourite so far. Once you've filled them that's it....no mucking about for the rest of the day and lovely flavour and vapour. Seem to last well too going by the reviews I've seen. Hope you find your feet and start to enjoy experimenting, I'm sure you'll get there, especially with the encouragement from this lovely lot Dizi

the clearomizers (from i-Vapour) are fab and definitely proving to be my favourite so far. Once you've filled them that's it.... I got my first clearomisers yesterday, from Cloud9. Started faffing with one in the early/late hours of this morning and had a helluva job, couldn't see the holes and then my needle was too thick anyway. So I ended up taking the bung out and refilling down the sides It's faintly burny tasting, and the draw is a bit weak compared to what I'm used to. But it's early days. (I posted in Reviews in the clearomiser thread.) So there may be an oldie going to a newbie for help! scylla

I've moved your reply into the clearo thread, Dizi, so's interested parties can find it - if you see what I mean. It's the first time I've moved a post and I neglected to tick something that would have indicated "post moved and where to" scylla
