To be fair, I've done both. And for the amount of fannying about, top fill isn't worth it. Fannying about doesn't bother me at all, you should have seen some of the faffing from earlier kit I want to try it, if it doesn't work for me then I shan't bother again. That is why I am asking for members methods.

I've been using my KFL's and Russians, both originals and clones for a fairly long time now. However, I have always filled them using the bottom fill screw, which has always worked as it should. In the interests of preserving the threads on mods as long as possible I know that some people top fill. Basically I'm interested in what methods you use and do they work OK? I have seen various videos, but they are a bit contradictory.

I dont know what setup i have, but it vapes and for now i am happy with it, although it would help if someone could post some pics of the nano and regular as this is confusing the shit outta me ? Look at the piccys on FT again. The nano is the 2 smaller sections with whatever you choose to use in the middle (metal or clear) ETA You can actually have it with 3 configurations: Nano sections above and below the middle section, small chimney top. Large sections above and below the middle section, long chimney top. Large below, small above (or vice versa), long chimney top. Whichever top cap seals to the chimney. Whichever you prefer really. As long as it all seals, then jobs a good un.

lairey can you help please, I know you have a few of these fasttech ones? Just looked at mine again and I use the bigger top section for the drip tip but have a nano section above the window? That works. If I want the full sections, then I have to use the smaller top cap. If I use a nano section above the window then I can use the bigger top section. I've got 6 of that FT one and having had a close look at them all the chimney section on the one I was on about is slightly shorter than the others. As Greg says a QC issue. No biggy really. As an aside I've got 2 genuine KFL and this particular FT one vapes as well as them.

Roger, i just looked and that's the one i have on and it fits ? I have an idea that the chimney section on that particular KFL is maybe a little shorter than on my other ones. It doesn't cause any problems at all, I think I prefer the look of the shorter top cap and it vapes like a champ anyway

Apologies for the poor picture, but this may show it better. The chimney does not reach if I use the top cap on the right.

That is the one I have as well. You can use either the clear or metal middle section. If you use the smaller sections above and below the middle then it is smaller (nano). The bigger sections are normal (4.5ml) size. The only problem I had was which top cap section would allow the longer top chimney to reach and seal. Greg, that is not what Roger said, he said he had to use the the smaller top section (nano) with the longer chimney as the larger top section did not fit. See: Dec 13, 2014 15:44:30 GMT Roger said: buliwyf Avatar Dec 13, 2014 15:36:13 GMT buliwyf said: i've filled it up twice and the juice just comes out from the drip tip and every other hole ? Make sure that the chimney is sealing into the top cap o ring. If you don't get a seal there it will leak everywhere. On one of that model clone I've got, I have to use the smaller top cap with the full size tanks, the larger top cap o ring comes nowhere near the chimney top. Is that right? I'm only 3 months into using these but have not touched the smaller sections Probably not being clear. I have to use the smaller top CAP (the bit the drip tip goes into) not body section.

You wouldn't have any links to pics would you roger please? buliwyf Only the ones on FT really. www.fasttech.com/p/1700500Picture 6 shows the two body makeups. But you can substitute the clear tank for the metal one on the large setup. When I do that I have to use the shorter top cap.
