Well we decided last night to do a random check of the mods while we were sorting out the serial numbers for quality control reasons. We noticed that there was a manufacturing defect on the inner tubes of the few we opened. A small but noticeable issue with the finish on the inside of the tubes. So we opened quite a few more and we realised very quickly that this was not an isolated problem. I immediately contacted J2P Mods and we both agreed not to start selling them until the issue had been rectified. So ALL of the mods are being shipped back to the Philippines on Monday to be checked and have new inner tubes made. It seems all the inner tubes were not checked correctly by his quality control guy. New checks are being put in place right now to make sure this does not happen again.
Needless to say both SHMOVapes and J2P Mods are not happy about this situation in the slightest but we both agree that we will not contemplate selling anything with defects.
We will update you as and when we find out but we expect there to be around a 2-3 week turn around

dickyg, I have not had any problems with the Kanger 'yet'. Just too much air but I'll defo get some cocktail sticks and block up the holes.

This is exciting! I better not tell the GF how much I'm spending in my first week vaping lol

So I dove into this vaping game on Tuesday when everything had arrived and stopped smoke ciggys right away. So 2 days in and I'm very pleased with the results. I got an eGo C Twist 1000mah, 2 Kanger MT3's and some spare atomizers and been happy with it.. I have also been getting my juice from juice-kitchen.co.uk as I have know Stu for years and I'm enjoying the juices a lot. Strawberry NYC Cheese Cake is really good btw. But I want better. The MT3's are very airy and I'm going to try and figure out how to block 2 out of the 3 holes and buy a drip tank.... So I am starting modding within my first week and last night I had a mare. Battery ran out  Guess I need a spare battery then  So I was looking on VE and saw this - EGO VAMO I want one! Now does any one have one and what are they like? I saw on a chinese site including batteries and charger for about the same price delivered but I have been advised that the batteries and charger will be rubbish. I really want to get the VAMO and batteries & charger for MAX £50 delivered. Is it possible from the UK? Any advice? Cheers in advance |

thanks for all the hello's, welcomes and advice.
I'm fine flying and not smoking tbh, so no need to stealth vape on a plane.
And a good idea not to fill the MT3's with juice before hand, I can take a little bottle with me in my hand luggage if I feel like I can't survive a few hours.
Oh one more question, I got a eGo C Twist 1000mah in the post today from VE along with a charger. How do you know if it needs a charge and if it's fully charged?
It came without instructions and I plugged the charger in a USB port and screwed the batt into charge. The light stays green on the charger and the light on the twist flashes a few times when connected and they stays dark.

Hi all....
I'm about to start my journey in this vaping game. Just got my ego twist in the post from VE and (fingers crossed) 2 Kanger MT3's from safercigs tomorrow
Browsing the forums I have to say, you are all a good bunch and once I get my head around all of it I will no doubt be asking questions...
I do have one question off the bat. What's the score when travelling by air? I'm going to Austria via Germany in a month so any tips to limit the hassle of security etc would be appreciated
