I mix glycerine with distilled water. But it doesn't make sense. 1mg/ml is still 1mg/ml whether its mixed with water or not surely? Doesn't make sense.

If Rebecca Taylors and/or the other 3 ammendments go through, they are vetter under the TPD than not under it. But if they remain they want them regulated as a medicine then yes get them out of it. But a very good blog, and good comments too, like e-cigs will over take tobacco so product packaging is irrelevant

I was walking to work one day, and for some reason, I don't know why, I thought I would take my evod off. After taking it off, looked at it, and thought f#ck!! Juice all over my eVic. A very quick run back home, dry it as much as possible and refilled. The evod was rank afterwards, and seem to have restricted airflow, but a new head and it's all fine now.
I do now when I take it off, hold it upside down, so if only the tank comes off, it won't leak everywhere.
Back to your Vamo, I presume juice has got into the wiring, I would suggest putting it in a bowl of rice for a week or so (without a battery) but someone said the juice can damage it, and not just moisture, so I can't help further other than that. I guess soaking/flushing it out (without a battery) in water wouldn't do any harm as long as it's COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the battery.

Good news about IMCO. I posted the JURI thing in another thread. Pressure is building on ENVI surely they can't stand up to it much longer. They have to crumble soon! Hopefully on the 10/11 of July?

I thought it was common knowledge that propylene glycol was used in smoke machines. It's been mentioned a few times on here.
I haven't heard triethylene used in fog machines however. The reason why people think propylene is bad just because its in anti-freeze, goes back to when diethylene glycol was used in anti-freeze, which made it very toxic! But now it uses propylene that is not toxic. It's all about brand image (so to speak)

It wasn't a horrendous article and more balanced than many I have read.
The problem is no-one wants to come out and say they are safe after what has happened in the past in regards to tobacco products. I think it's just organisations covering their own arses.

Got this from the afore mentioned forun. A tweet from Rebecca Taylor @thesmokersangel #ecigs compromise went through : ) but too many pro-tobacco industry amendments also adopted : ( #health #tobacco #TPD Sounds good to me. Now hopefully ENVI focus on the harmful product and leave us alone. Heres to hoping. Once we have the full details ECCA will write a post explaining (hopefully) what this means for vaping/e-cigarettes

"Encourage all current products to get a license." That's just incase the ENVI committee screw it up, at least we will have some regulated as medicines lol

They do give you a feeling, just like when I first started vaping. But nothing like a first pull on a smoke after say a week or 2 without stinkies.

Im suprised this hasn't been posted (or I just haven't seen it)
JURI will vote tomorrow on article 18 of the TPD. They had a hearing today, I must say I didn't watch it, but what has been said on UKV is they seem to have taken a liking to Rebecca Taylor's ammendments. They also suggested that by restricting access to a nicotine product that reduces harm, whilst tobacco products are still widely availble was stupidity.
They did originally look at removing article 18 completely but doesn't sound like they will now.
Anyway the voting starts tomorrow, this is number 4 on the agenda and they start at 9 am. So don't know exactly what time they will vote on the TPD.
This is great news if thehposts on UKV are an accurate relay of the meeting/hearing.

Right maybe this may help (just my experience however). When I first got my ego with a ce4 on it, the first day made me feel like I was high. A little dizzy but generally spaced out. And ive heard this is a common experience. So that tells me the delivery system is good, otherwise that wouldn't have happened.
Fast forward 2 months and had a few tokes on a ciggy (put it out as it was rank!) I got a different sort of headrush and this was after I had had a vape. That tells me that it's either the delivery system is much much faster (but I got a headrush when vaping at the start) or there are alot of other addictive chemicals (chemicals that affect the brain which makes them addictive) in a tobacco cigarette.
Now I'm not going to say to those long time vapers that they should go and have a couple of puffs on a stinky to know what I mean, but I think many of you have probably already experienced it.
That is another reason why NRTs don't work, they only replace the nicotine, not the other chemicals nor the habit of smoking. Its like trying to cut out 2/3 of smoking, whereas vaping is only cutting out 1/3, the 'other' addictive chemicals.
I hope that makes some sort of sense. It may not be factual but its something I have experienced.
