Does this look ready for a change? Or do you think I could get a few more weeks out of it? Looks like a nice initial build, but after the vaping barbecue, not so sure ?. Choked ?

I use .5mm if i'm going for a .3ohm build or .4mm if i'm shooting for a .5ohm build. .5mm is about the fattest you can really use on the Subtank anything fatter just doesn't fit between the screw and the sidewall. Sorry to interrupt, do beg pardon if not reading this right, but when you guys are referring to size of wire, as in OP, "What size Kanthal", i.e. ref above quote. Are you talking about diameters of the coils or actual size of wire, i.e. 24 gauge/26 gauge etc as was in old money, so to speak ?.

Hi People. Sorry if I am going over old ground here, so to speak.
But, I have a couple of Eleaf Melo tanks, which I like very much.
Do have a couple of back ups also, iSub G and a Smok Vapour Chaser as back ups, which I seldom use, because of of my liking of the Melo. No leaks great Vape. Ticks all the boxes, happy Vaper.
But always fancied trying to build coils, but found it too difficult because not too good eyesight.
However fancy having a go with a UD coil builder V3, which I have not bought yet but like the look of it, and intend to get one and give it a try.
Have been recommended to get a Eleaf Lemo 2. As easy build and great vape. As I like the Melo.
My problem is although there are many “You Tube” links and Reviews on here, up here in the sticks, Internet is very slooooooooow at the moment.
So, just a quick request, any thumps up for the Lemo 2 ?.
I am sure there are many other options, but is the Lemo2 as good a place to start as any ?.
BTW, I will be using it with a iStick 50w and a MVP 3 Pro.
Thank you all in advance as always.

If they thought a Black Subox was bad, then they don't want to see what just popped into my inbox: What started off as a slightly humorous post, has suddenly gone scary. Please, stay away from guns, Mod Designers.

All the above I would not argue with. But for a sure simple great value vape, I would recommend the istick 50 watt and a Melo tank, you will be a happy vaper. You can get a Melo, for less than £15, and Istick 50w for about £30 ish.
I do also have a MVP Pro which will not cost much more, each have long battery life, just plug in Usb and recharge. Can't go wrong.. Keep it simple.
For a newbie, that's what I would buy as a starter kit. There are endless combinations as what you can go for, but you will have extra costs for chargers, batteries etc for most of the suggestions above. No offence intended to the above.
Then tune in to mixology, Cigarette free and cost effective, in no time.
