Hi People. Sorry if I am going over old ground here, so to speak.
But, I have a couple of Eleaf Melo tanks, which I like very much.
Do have a couple of back ups also, iSub G and a Smok Vapour Chaser as back ups, which I seldom use, because of of my liking of the Melo. No leaks great Vape. Ticks all the boxes, happy Vaper.
But always fancied trying to build coils, but found it too difficult because not too good eyesight.
However fancy having a go with a UD coil builder V3, which I have not bought yet but like the look of it, and intend to get one and give it a try.
Have been recommended to get a Eleaf Lemo 2. As easy build and great vape. As I like the Melo.
My problem is although there are many “You Tube” links and Reviews on here, up here in the sticks, Internet is very slooooooooow at the moment.
So, just a quick request, any thumps up for the Lemo 2 ?.
I am sure there are many other options, but is the Lemo2 as good a place to start as any ?.
BTW, I will be using it with a iStick 50w and a MVP 3 Pro.
Thank you all in advance as always.

Might wanna try the Subtank Mini or Subtank Plus, only reason i say that is you don't need to wrap the coil legs around or under screw heads.

I personally find the lemo 2 easier to build on than the subtank because there's more room.
I love my lemo 2. But it leaks if left on its side. It leaks if you over fill. Maybe it's just me not wicking properly. I don't know.
Do you lung hit or prefer mouth to lung? I personally don't find the lemo suitable for mouth to lung at all.
It also absolutely eats eliquid.
The subtank mini has been far more juice friendly for me.
I can't make coils either so got a coil master and think they're amazing! Perfect coils every time in seconds.
I don't think you'd be disappointed in the lemo 2.

I wouldn't personally say that the Lemo 2 is easy to build on, getting the wire through the leg holes is a PITA on a good day. You could however not do that and wrap around the screws instead?

I love my lemo 2 (especially with ni200) But I wouldn't call it an easy build. the Delta II and subtank mini are far easier IMHO

I love my Lemo 2 too lynxkat, I find it easy to use and if you follow the fill instructions it doesn't leak! You can buy the ready made coils on the Eleaf website £2.99 (+P&P) for x5 0.5ohm coils (ready wicked) HERE or Totally Wicked (same price) HERE - Use code SUMMER25 for 25% off

it can be tricky but if you keep the coil on a mandrel as u fit to maintain its shape, and pre bend the legs @90 degrees to meet the post holes its gets easier once you have done the one.

I got a Lemo Drop as my "move up" atty after a Kayfunalike that I found very forgiving, The Drop was similar to build on, but the wicking is different, and leaked profusely until I re-wicked it after watching 3 or 4 videos on youtube. The knack is sticking the wick to the top of the juice channels, across the deck, with e-liquid before filling. I also have a Lemo V2 and I found it more difficult to build and wick than the Drop, but practice pays off and, touchwood, it's been fine for a month and 3 build's. I'd try a kayfunalike from fast tech (check threads for sku number) as a first build it yourself, as they are VERY forgiving!
