Top job on the MVP repair.
Always satisfying when you sort something like that and it doesn't cost you any money.
Looks like replacing the battery won't be too much of a problem in the future when it starts to lose it charge.

Thanks Perpetua. It certainly is frustrating but i have just checked the tracking this morning and they must have sent it on the slow boat from HK as it has taken a week from leaving HK to arriving in the UK. At least i am seeing some progress and all going well with UK customs i should have it by the end of the week, start of next week.

How many people are still waiting on theirs? It's been over 3 weeks since I ordered mine and I am getting restless. Left HK a week ago after a weeks stay at customs so it looks like they have sent it on the slow boat or UK customs are keeping it for a bit too. Suppose it will make it worth the wait when it finally arrives. I will be jumping about like a dafty when the postie chaps on the door with it!

I received an order yesterday from Fasttech. Though it was going to be my MVP order but it was the one i ordered after it. With this order i bought a power bank case www.fasttech.com/products/1280901 and four Panasonic 2900mah unprotected batteries www.fasttech.com/products/1141102, i also bought a retractable micro usb cable www.fasttech.com/products/1141102 to use with it. these things are great and avoid having to faff about untangling the cable every time you need to use it . I charged up the batteries with the Nitecore i2 charger i received and popped them in the case. My Nexus 4 phone had 20% of battery left so i plugged it in and used a stopclock app on my phone to see how long it takes to fully charge. I wasn't expecting it to be as quick as the mains but it was near enough on par i would say. From 20% to full it was 2h 40m and i am well happy with that, even more so when it cost about £22 all in! My Nexus 7 was down at 3% so i gave that a charge with it too. The charger coped with it fine and still would have enough juice for another charge or two in it i would say. I charged it up after the two charges and it charged the batteries up pretty quickly. Checked the Voltage in my Vamo and they were all at 4.1v so i will maybe use the Nitecore to top them up in future for safety. I also bought a couple of usb fans. www.fasttech.com/products/1098001 , www.fasttech.com/products/1099700. The first one is absolute mince and lasted all of 5-10 seconds before it died! The leds started flickering then stopped and the blades promptly after them. Not to worry as Fasttech have sorted me out with a voucher to use on a future order. The second fan is ace and puts out a good amount of air to cool you down. Great price on this too, well chuffed with it. Overall pretty happy with Fasttech and have yet to have any real gripes with them. Whenever i have received a faulty item they have contacted me fast and sorted me out with a replacement or voucher.

I have also used both plenty of times.
Received a fairly large order on sat with the value of $60 from Fasttech and had no problems with customs but i wouldn't want to go much higher than that. Good thing with Fasttech is it is free postage so it is cheaper than Vapourbreak to split the orders to avoid any problems with customs.

Microsoft have dropped the ball big time with the release of the Xbox 1. They seem to be more focused on tv and using the Xbox 1 as a media centre rather than just a gaming console.
Neither new console will be able to play the older generations games (PS3/360) as you will have to have the chipsets on the motherboard to emulate the graphics. Only the first fat editions of the PS3 were able to play PS2 games and Sony ran a huge loss with the extra costs involved so won't do it again i expect.
I have always bought my new console on release week (PS1/2/3) but i think i will be holding off on the PS4 until after crimbo this time as i will be wanting to get the most out of my PS3 games (GTA5) and i see no point in have 2 consoles at the same time.

The genuine one's are real easy to re-wick/coil. These will be the same i would expect.
