Took the plunge/squeeze. Only a Gbox 200.  Seems to work well enough though.  If I gets to like it I will probably build me own device of course.  |

As per usual we will be attending the Constitution Bar, Constitution Street, Edinburgh EH6 6RS at around midday until 6pm ish. All welcome for a few hours of laughter and a few drinks of your choice. Unfortunately for me, it looks like this will be my last meet for the foreseeable future   Damn now it's a double shame I can't get through, hope it aint nothing too serious. To everybody, have a great time & hopefully I can start coming to a few again soon. |

What are the attendance like this year ? looks rather sparse,not many crowds about. Wish I could have joined in the fun.Hopefully next year. Keep dry friends (outside). ha,ha.  Yeah I take up a fair bit of space so it's bound to look emptier down there  |

Sadly I have to say I'm not going to be able to make it down this year. Unfortunately the DWP has decided to be arsing me around again after being told to leave me alone for the last two years. With the uncertainty of my ESA and the bloody huge price of rail tickets (all the relevant cheapies must have sold out in seconds from what I saw), I just have to sit on what little cash I have. On top of that I start some therapy the week of VF which I've waited bleedin ages for so it couldn't be put off and that will wear me down some I would imagine. Luckily the Scots will be attending in force again so they can keep you all entertained. I know you're gonna have fun but you've all got to have a little extra for me ! |

The only advice I can offer anyone is SET UP TENT before having a drink..... otherwise your only option may well be to sleep in the car Sounds awfully like speaking from experience. . .  |

Yeah Coleman used to be good but it's all made in china these days and you can find unbranded versions of all their stuff on the chinese sites at half the cost these days (and reviews as good as the coleman so not just cheap knockoffs although they exist too). Some of the chinese ones are even on amazon these days. My next tent will likely be a naturehike which is a chinese brand but they do reasonable 4 season, double skin, silicon fabric tents for not too much. EDIT: I prefer a tent that takes a few minutes to stick up as they tend to be much more sturdy and in the long run much less hassle. This is from doing loads of camping/hiking over the years. Saving 10-15 minutes is not a huge concern for me. |
