Yeah I left a rather long rambly comment basically saying you get what you pay for comparing that cig-a-like rubbish with my EVic/Aga-T2 set up. Also gave a link for an e-pipe since he mentioned it. I shall wait to see if my comment turns up - Cancer Research UK didn't let one through yesterday when I asked them how a charity related to cancer and research in the title could be so poor at research for an article.  |

On a side note... I'd never really noticed before until all the legalese of the last few days, but my local "e-cig stall" has a huge sign above it saying "STOP SMOKING TODAY".. I guess this is counter productive in many ways... Any thoughts on this? J. Maybe you should go and peruse the stall in detail and quiz them about the product they are selling checking for things like liquid in child proof containers and of what manufacturer origin, type of claims they are making about cigarette equivalence etc. If they are one of the dodgy, selling crap at a huge mark up crowd you could then subtlety ask them to see the medical evidence they are using to claim it is a quit device, if you have the inclination to do so of course. Indeed we don't want stalls that don't follow chip regs and the like to continue to be about the place at the moment so you might even want to complain to your local trading standards if they seem to be the dodgy type of seller. |

I have trouble closing the battery cover on mine as the spring is so strong! Yup, my spring is very strong and you need to use a fair amount of force while trying to get the threads to catch. |

Yeah mine turns off after a knock too but the battery is a very tight fit.
I think it has to be some safety feature in case it gets dropped.

If that was in response to my earlier post about ECCA forum reps, then you misunderstand what I meant. I am willing and happy to anything that is needed, I just feel that it needs to be coordinated and our Consumer Association reps would be the ideal ones to do it. If I am wrong, then I apologise and will stop being so sensitive.  No I was not aiming my comment at you or specifically at anybody else. I have noticed however there are those about who rant on many of the forums about doing something about our plight but in actuality never seem to do even one thing apart from more ranting. |

Good for you VB and this might help you with your other problems hun. Give you something to get up and fight for. Proud of you!  I have been doing what I can to fight for my right to choice since I found vaping and will keep doing as much as I am able till they either see sense or I die, whichever comes first. Early in ECCA I gave support but had to pull back due to health but I was brought up to stand by what you know to be right even if it kills you. Frankly the whole MHRA thing has set me off again with my depression but I am not going the let the b******s get away with the crap they are trying to foist on us. If everybody on all the various forums had the same attitude and didn't just talk about it we would be much further ahead with this. Today and tomorrow I have benefits stuff I need to sort out but then I will be starting off by carefully wording more correspondence for the leeches of the public purse (politicians). I already sent my views on the MHRA to the BBC and will do so for the other media that covered this. I am going to get back to twitter too as every little helps when fighting against such deluded and corrupted organisations. |
