Was it the Burnley shop? i have seen that sales tactic first hand, quite effective. Some of their juice is ok, but everything they sell is silly money, without pushy sales they would sell nowt! no, it wasn't - but maybe they all get sent on the same training course!! |

Hi floop , if you're on 18mg and you're not getting what you need out of it you need to go bang straight upto 36mg, this will give you what you're looking for, and if its to much for you you can dilute it down a bit, but in the meantime if you're not doing this already, hold the fire button in for a few seconds before taking a draw on it and draw in slowly for 6/7 seconds, this should give you more out if it. thanks, i'll try that too. just annoying i can't get hold of any til next week!! |

(and my libertine lifestyle these days consists of vaping, talking to my rabbit - yes, a real life hopping about bunny rabbit - and eating huge cookies.....gawd when did i get old??) What are you like. I had a chat (an hour before visiting Totally Wicked) with a giant Rabbit myself. We also checked out the baby rabbits too that arrived recently when my friends were on holiday. ahhhh.....rabbits like to do that. not my boy though as nasty old me took him to the vets for that to be sorted as he'd taken rather a shine to my shoes...... |

Small world. I was looking at these today. Lucky you didn't buy the big ones.....£4 more expensive than online. Is it really weak? Maybe either cut your loses and keep it for spare, or buy a 3 pack of 1.8 heads, if they sell them. That's what I'd do Floop . . . the 1.8omh head will give you a much more satisfying vape. So sorry you were pressurized into buying something that you didn't necessarily want or need.  i feel really stoopid!! are these 1.8 things standard size or will i have to buy one from that store to fit it? |

Floop? What resistance is your new clearomiser...does it have little numbers on the side by the wick? If the one you bought is rebuildable, hold fire on giving up on it. I remember the early days with a Riva and a strong flavour juice using a 2.4 head and then going to a 1.8ohm head - it nearly blew my head off (freshly charged mind you).....you will get there. Once I got used to the vapour (I coughed and stuff at first, plus got wheezy) I went straight down to low resistance cartos and clearos. after much squinting, yes, there is a number. its 2.4 and a symbol :/ can you tell i'm not very technical? really fed up having spent twice what i'd hoped to already with trying to sort out a decent throat feeling. |

Some LR Cartos would give you a better throat hit from your Riva. Your battery will not last as long between charges though using them! think its unrealistic to manage with the 2 batteries i have using LR cartos (i'm home most of the time so rarely away from a charger) ? |

Hiya floop - you want some combination of lower resistance cartomiser, higher voltage and higher nic content in a mainly PG based liquid. Not sure what you have got at the moment, but all of those will increase throathit hi dave, i have one of these: www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151if i order some low resistance cartomisers to use with it would that help? annoyed my order is taking so long to arrive as i thought i'd be sorted for this weekend. |

hello, having a bit of a 'mare the last week with my vaping. my favourite liquid just doesn't seem to 'do it' any more. no throat hit i don't care about vapour, i wan't my throat to feel something. anything. so, read loads on here and placed an order with a company where i could specify (and pay) for extra throat hit. excitedly waited for the postie. and waited. and waited. apparently my order was dispatched on 29th, first class but still hasn't arrived. gutted. just been into a vape shop in town for some help about the throat hit i crave and asked if i should try higher strength (usually have 18). they said no and offered me an atomiser to try and what appears to be a clearomiser. the clearomiser with menthol was ok so so they'd got it in a bag for me and had my money in a blink of an eye!! home now with it and still disappointed. i bought a clearomiser before (kanger i think) but went back to cartomisers. i explained this in the shop but apparently this one is better as i can rebuild it..... what am i doing 'wrong'? i can't afford to buy any more bits right now. losing the will to vape. |
