trying to find the 'oomph'

hello,
having a bit of a 'mare the last week with my vaping. my favourite liquid just doesn't seem to 'do it' any more. no throat hit    i don't care about vapour, i wan't my throat to feel something. anything.

so, read loads on here and placed an order with a company where i could specify (and pay) for extra throat hit. excitedly waited for the postie. and waited. and waited. apparently my order was dispatched on 29th, first class but still hasn't arrived.  gutted.

just been into a vape shop in town for some help about the throat hit i crave and asked if i should try higher strength (usually have 18). they said no and offered me an atomiser to try and what appears to be a clearomiser.  the clearomiser with menthol was ok so so they'd got it in a bag for me and had my money in a blink of an eye!! home now with it and still disappointed.  i bought a clearomiser before (kanger i think) but went back to cartomisers. i explained this in the shop but apparently this one is better as i can rebuild it.....


what am i doing 'wrong'?  i can't afford to buy any more bits right now. 

losing the will to vape.

Hiya floop - you want some combination of lower resistance cartomiser, higher voltage and higher nic content in a mainly PG based liquid. Not sure what you have got at the moment, but all of those will increase throathit

if i order some low resistance cartomisers to use with it would that help?  annoyed my order is taking so long to arrive as i thought i'd be sorted for this weekend.

Some LR Cartos would give you a better throat hit from your Riva. Your battery will not last as long between charges though using them!

Try the LR (2 ohm) Boge cartomisers - they will certainly give you more oomph than the SR ones you have. If you can run to it I'd try some 24mg juice as well. In the longer run, might be worth getting a Twist or a Spinner as well so you can up the voltage a bit too. If you only have two batteries, you will need a backup anyhow

I'm not a massive clearo fan floop but I quite like the Vivi Novas, and these ones are pretty good

think its unrealistic to manage with the 2 batteries i have  using LR cartos (i'm home most of the time so rarely away from a charger) ?

Not unrealistic at all floop as the Rivas are 1100mAh. Just something to be aware off Although back ups are always good, save up for a Twist or a Spinner
