Hi to all

The WVO has now been launched for a week, We have about 2300 members. Over 90% of those are vapers and about 200 are vendors. The results from the first week are not bad neither great. Let be honest, for this organisation to have any serious power we need to reach the milestone which is about 50,000 members in our opinion. So we have a lot of work to do in order to reach this number.

Over the last week we realised that there is a certain mistrust between vapers and vendors. The fact that my name as eBaron is underneath the manifesto has created much suspicion between vapers all over the world thinking that this is nothing more than another trade organisation that wants to manipulate the market. This is so far away from the truth, however the fact remains that the vapers are rightly suspicious.

Another major problem that we have is that we are overwhelmed with messages, emails and work that needs to be done, and at the moment unfortunately cannot be done. Basically, we cannot cope. This organisation will need one or two full-time personnel in order to cope. As you understand something like that cannot happen until there are elected directors that can take over and spend the money however they see fit.

Based on the above, we need seriously passionate vapers to step-up and take over the WVO. We will need one person to take over for each of the following regions/countries:

UK
Ireland
France
Italy
Spain
Greece
Germany
USA

In addition we will need one person non-vendor, somebody with a specific weight in the vaping world, somebody that the majority of vapers trust, that will take the lead of all the organisation today and organise the elections over the next month.

Hopefully, if we find the above 9 people, these people can run for the elections and the work that they did for the organisation before hand may be rewarded by the members voting for them. The plan for the elections is to be held on January through the website.

It is absolutely essential, if you would seriously like this organisation to succeed, for these leaders to be found immediately. The most important is the overall leader that would organise the elections.

As you know, as eBaron, my aim was to kick start this organisation and then move to the sidelines as an ordinary member. I stick to that. I am not the correct person to be a leader of an organisation such as this because of my status as a major vendor and to be honest I do not have the capabilities and qualities to do such a thing. Over the last few months myself as well as several people from the founder members have put a lot of work, time and money for this organisation to to begin and I believe our work at the front is almost complete.

WVO MANIFESTO
We are a non-profit organisation. We are here to become the muscle of vaping worldwide. We are here to defend against dubious politicians, rogue scientists, controlled media, bias public organisations, and anybody else who hides behind them. Our approach will be swift and powerful, with a team of scientists as advisors, a small army of white collar solicitors as executors, and a monstrous PR agency to spread our word.
We believe that Vaping is not smoking and eliquid is not a medicine, neither tobacco. In fact this is our only policy. It is about time that everybody out there learns that a vaping device is not another cigarette. It is about time all of us, vapers, vendors, reviewers, forums and trade organisations become united. We all may have differing agendas and there may be many ways to reach our targets but the aim is the same for all of us.
We are NOT here to create policy within the vaping community and our industry, neither to take any ones side. We are here simply to defend vaping for you.
LET'S UNITE

This organisation is destined to become massive. It has to be in order to achieve it's purpose. It will be supported by scientists. lawyers and PR. Whenever it's necessary we will defend hard and we will strike at their weakest point. We have nothing to hide - they do.
We may not be able to promise you a safe haven for the vaping cause, but we can promise to all of you that once WVO is operational everyone will have to think very carefully before attacking vaping again - we will respond fast and strike hard.
Fellow vapers, vendors, forums, reviewers, trade organisations, associations, LET'S UNITE NOW we are all simply vapers.

We are not just another organisation. We are here to take serious action and WE NEED YOU ALL. Please make no mistakes, do not dismiss this message. Please register on our website now to become a member. The membership is free, even though we have a paypal account for donations. Even one single euro will make a difference as our only source of funding is us.
Fellow Vapers, WVO is not a trade organisation. It will be run by you. You will be the biggest force behind it. You will elect the Board, and that means that the decisions will be made by you. We need you in huge numbers. Ask your family and friends to become members. It's about time we showed to the bureaucrats in the EU and National Governments that we have power and that we can bite hard. We do not need thousands, we need hundreds of thousands.

We are not here to create policy or make policies within our industry. Be on our side. Become part of something big and let your voice be heard. Please become members as a vendor and request your staff to do the same as vapers. Membership is free but please donate to our paypal whatever you can spare. There will be several ways created in the near future for all vendors to help financially, within this organisation. WE NEED YOU ALL.

We are not in competition. In fact we are here to work together and fight your legal battles if needed. We are your muscle. We do not aim to create policy. The fact is that when you negotiate, your position will be much stronger if your opponents know that behind you there is an organisation that bites. So, be part of WVO and become members as an Organisation. Please also request from all your members to do the same and become members of WVO either as vendors or vapers.

I hope I can answer your question above simply. All the founding members are in the list, they are company members (ie, not individuals) or reviewers that will be making the initial donations to the cause. Their initial roles within the WVO is simply to help the launch by spreading the word on forums and other mediums in their own countries. I have to say that I think that they have done a very good job as the word certainly seems to be 'out there' and lots of people are discussing this now.

Their role after that is simple - they don't have one! Other than being a standard member of the WVO. They, like you and the other members of the WVO, will have the rights to stand/vote in the elections that will be held in each country for a director/representative that will work on behalf of their nation/region. All of these positions in every country will be voted for. I do hope that these 'founder members' will also step up to help organise this.

I hope that in the very near future the WVO will be able to employ a 'Co-ordinator' to head this up. It would be good if this person could communicate with every elected person in every country to co-ordinate any action that is to be taken on behalf of the WVO. This person will also be collating information from each country/region about what is happening and how we can help as a large group. Be it financially, legally or possibly in terms of organising mass protests etc. They will not only be communicating with members of the WVO but also members of other organisations that are well established to see how the mass numbers that we hope to obtain worldwide can help them too. After all, we all want the same outcome - to continue vaping without having such stringent measures put in place that it takes all the fun out of it!

This role will obviously take a very special person, and I believe it will be a very demanding full time position.

Fellow vapers, over the last years we have seen a huge attack on vaping using media and 'scientists' as a front line. A number of high profile politicians talking about the 'good' and 'protection of the public' . In truth everything is about money and a number of industries that simply want to take the profits of vaping for their own good. They are powerful and can control national governments as well as the EU politicians. If we don't do something, vaping as we know it may cease to exist soon. Over the last year a number of people sat together and we agreed the need for the creation of the World Vaping Organisation with the aim to defend vaping as we like it. Hi I am after a good concentrate for DIY mixing,
Up until recently I was using a cheap hangseng PG aniseed anyway the local shop ran out so I had to find an alternative,
Then started using vapology double aniseed which was even better then they ran out lol,
So then I tried some anise concentrate which was ok but was a bit to perfumed
And had an underlying tang to it so I am looking for an alternative???

Any help appreciated,

Popped it over to a mates who has a soldering iron for repairing computer's so all being well I will get a call in the next hour or so saying its sorted sooooo fingers crossed lol
Any recommendations on what type of glue I need to re secure the top on ??? :s

No mate iv been using ecigs for over a year nd had literally only run it down the threads until it wasn't loose as I always have :s
Appreciate your input though mate and sound advice too,
