If the Batcig has a 2 second cut off and a restricted airway they can get pretty close to a regulated dose but again it only has to be as 'good' as an nrt inhalator which is already approved. another point is they claim one of their products contains 18.6 mg of nicotine, I think they are confusing quantity with strength. 18.6mg would mean per litre NOT per ecig. Without knowing how much liquid it holds we don't know how much nicotine we would get from one and on the v*pe site it says approx 60% is inhaled, 40% wasted?, before the battery goes flat. So to recap, it's overpriced, underpowered, is as good as an inhalator and will probably be the best gateway to proper vaping we've ever seen.

They don't have to. All they have to show is that it has the same efficacy as an equivalent nrt product which means the Nicorette inhalator, so it can be as crap as they want it to be and charge a ridiculous price.

Reading the MHRA pdf it would appear that they still think ecigs are cigalikes. At least they say that if a product doesn't contain nicotine it doesn't have to be licenced. Yes that is correct, so you could openly sell placebo e-cigarettes. However to have just a liquid licence, it will need to have a licence against a delivery device/product, and that product must also have a licence. Or that's how I read it anyway. It's all a little confusing, and appears they are still rushing these releases. That's how I read it matt, but how can a juice manufacturer know all the devices it will be used in and be licenced for them? it can only mean prefilled cigalike carts so if a nicotine manufacturer doesn't make it for a particular ecig it doesn't need to be licenced depending on what the EU comes out with in the final ncp and tpd regs. It's a proper mess and looks to be unlawful and unenforceable to me.

One of the major arguments against ecigs has been "we don't know" so obviously, DO SOME F**KING RESEARCH YOU LAZY C**TS

The big boys are winning again and they will get all the backing they want because money talks, this is the kind of device if we are still vaping come 2016 that will be available, because at present we have Royal Mail forcing vendors into not selling eliquids because vendors cant get them shipped, and the government will force products like this onto us, as much as it pains me to say this but this is the one thing as a vaper that i was fearing (the big tobacco companies getting involved, mainly because of the huge sum's of £££££ and big backers they have) Calm down. yes the big boys have got involved but they're not winning. They can sell their £6.99 throwaway cigalike that costs the prospective quitter about £35 a day but we'll still be here to help and show how it should be done.

On a more serious note this is the product that BAT are going to get MHRA approval for, so a crappy 99p cigalike is going to be sold for £6.99 and also be prescribed on the NHS so costing the tax payer more. And why are they only selling disposables? To keep the price up or to keep in line with the MHRA's made up regulations that talk about regulated dose/use which to me means a product that supplies a fixed dose for a fixed time and doesn't allow you to overdose? So a disposable that won't last you more than a few hours stops you from overdosing? Then the price stops you from buying more? So you go back to the stinkies. Success!!! Big Cig make money, Big Pharma make money, poor smoker dies....who cares???

Oh come on, this is Fox. One of the "doctors" was a specialist in genetics. What's that got to do with ecigs? does vaping cause deformities in your children? although the question should be does this product have more ill effects than tobacco?
