I don't have a usual juice, I only just began vaping a week ago.I'm experimenting at the moment with juices from various suppliers.

The way I see it, the possibility of potential, possible problems with teeth (I doubt it has any adverse effect on teeth.) Or lung cancer. Not a hard choice for me. For me either, I would prefer to have all of my teeth pulled than get cancer obviously, but I don't really want to make any problems in my mouth (gum deterioration worries me more than actual teeth) and anything I can do to prevent this happening, like liquid mixes that are less likely to do damage etc, I would gladly appreciate some advice on.

I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago and he said my teeth and gums were in much better nick since I quit smoking... And I see that the thread you linked to includes some posts from a dentist, who says not to worry. Big toothy smile >>> I thought there were some worrying things in that thread which one dentist (if it was a dentist) is not alleviating for me. I don't know of a dentist that would actually recommend it. I'm not trying to scaremonger, I think it is a legitimate concern. Dentistry is expensive, and as a phobic it is bloody traumatic experience for me. I would like to know if I am filling my mouth with sugar or not. Could this be worse than having a can of Coke multiple times a day? Vaping would get into every crevice in your mouth even more so that drinking it?

In the Alchemist Cupboards ingredients it just says 'flavourings' which is a bit too much of a mystery for me. Is the only way to know what is in your liquid to mix it yourself?

Has anyone had problems with their teeth and vaping? I've been looking around trying to find some information and there seems to be some worrying things out there. I'm sure it is probably no worse on the teeth than smoking, but I would prefer no damage to my teeth. I've just spent a lot of money on my teeth and anything I can do to avoid any further problems would be good. I have noticed some changes in my mouth in the week that I have been vaping; an odd metallic taste, more of a furry tongue etc...
Are some liquids better than others? Anything that should be avoided?
Do the sweeter flavours actually damage teeth, gums? I don't know if there is actual sugar in them or not, or if some of the ingredients convert to sugar. If my mouth is full of a sweet tasting substance it would seem odd that there is nothing in there that is damaging.
I would love to know what exactly is in the liquids I am buying, there seems to be no regulation, which is a worry for me. I would love to see a list of ingredients on the bottles, like with food products. Does anyone know if any liquid makers do this already?

I tried my laptop first, but then used the mains. It doesn't work on either, but thanks for trying to help!
I already did some shopping online, lots of goodies arriving soon! I got a Riva1100 which seems to have pretty good reviews for a beginner.

Not really sure I can put my finger on it but I suppose the 10 motives has a cleaner mint taste, if that means anything. I hated menthol cigarettes and never smoked them, so I was quite surprised I liked the 10 Motives one.

I decided to change to E-cigs after buying a disposable menthol 10 motives one from Tesco, which I really liked (the tobacco one is not so nice in my opinion). I tried a few menthol ones at a local store yesterday and bought one, but it isn't really as nice as the taste of the 10 motives one. Does anyone know of any liquids that are similar/the same to that taste?

I shall have a good look around here before getting anything else. Thanks again for the help everyone. This is proving to be an expensive smoking weekend, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Back to 10 motives for the next day or so!

I don't think I want a replacement really, it looks like I could do much better for that price. I don't really trust the goods when they are not working so soon after buying, especially two of them. I suppose if it is just the charger it isn't so much of a problem (apart from paying over twice as much as it is worth), but if it is the actual devices I will definitely be looking for a refund. This will teach me to do my research and not impulse buy things!

I believe it's a franchise of a German company.

OK, I got my tool kit out and lifted both pins, still a solid green light on the charger. So I guess I have a duff charger? Guess that is me screwed for the weekend Thanks for the advice everyone. The video was helpful, thanks...

How would I ease it up, put something in the hole in the middle of it? It isn't solid like the pin on the charger.

I looked at the pin lift thing, it seems to be fine on the charger, it's standing proud. On the thing itself, there is a hole in the middle, so I don't see a way of lifting anything there?
