After 8 days vaping and nil fags or even a taste for one, I am passing the 'new' way of life around the family. My niece is my top aim as she so wants to give up and I am sure she could if she goes down this route. She is a mother of 3 children, and has very little time to herself. I am sure if she was to purchase the ones I have (egos and clearomizers) she would give up at the first cleaning or even filling. So what should she start with, something which is very simple, does not require time to work or maintain, but will still do the job?

Chillax, I am on a steep learning curve! Only been 'vaping' for a week but so far so good- nil fags!!! Our clearomizers are apparently xxl and they do hold a good amount of juice. Have cleaned them out 3 times (we had a problem with mine when first cleaning but hubby fixed it after 6 goes of taking it apart and putting it all back). I do loosen the clear bit whilst attached to the battery but then take it off the battery before removing the clear tube completely. Very gently rinse the 'white fronds' in warm water then rinse the rest of it. I then let it dry a bit on kitchen towel and dap it off to completely dry. Putting it back together, we found you have to be v careful not to trap the end of the fronds in the tube. Then before filling, zap them with the battery on for a few bursts to burn off the juice remnants, it does glow red when its clear. As I say so far so good! We did get 2 spare tubes and I am ordering some spare clearomizers tomorrow.

Hi, We have one each of the xxl clearomizers and they are working well. Question is how long do these last? Have cleaned them out very carefull three times now (apart from when we had the problem). Should I order spares?

On the subject of PG/VG, is it correct to say that the more VG, the more vapour and the more PG the more throat hit?? What are they both anyway? I have 50/50 on all the juice I currently have though I have to say the cherry one seems the mildest of them all. BTW thanks Gordy, just tried the tobacco with a little menthol - PerficcK (for today anyway!!)

Hi, I was given a couple of samples of spearmint with my first kit. It was ok but not close enough to Menthol for me, too sweet. So I got some Menthol 50/50 medium and I find that really strong as in almost burns my mouth and can hardly inhale. Do you think if I mixd some of it with the spearmint it would help or is there anything I can use to 'dilute' it?? Also tried cherry menthol and also found that was really strong. Using plain cherry at the minute which is quite weak so pinching a drag of hubbys tobacco one now and again.

Next query!!! Currently using the clearomisers with my Ego. Just received the 510T atties to try along with the ego t. Checked on line re filling them but the ones I have found are not mine. Mine have a hole in each end. Do i fill them just by dripping it in (won't it drip out?).

Well after 7 complete empty, clean, dry, replace and refill, hubby has got it working. He finally sussed that the tiny hole at the base of the clearomiser was clogged, so using a pin he gently unbunged and hey presto it is working. Thanks for all the advice.

They are the clear tubes with visible wicks. I have tried blowing into the mouthpiece but no good. HELP

Hubby and I Just started vaping - 4 days. Got the Ego with clearomisers, all good until yesterday.
We gave them a clean out and put them back together, refilled and ********** no puff! Its like they are blocked up, cannot get any draw on them. Redid hubbys 3 times and finally his is alright. Mine is not, its like sucking on a mouthpiece that is clogged (it is not). What on earth am i doing wrong. Please help

Hi, Just started today with 2 EGos. I am trying a tester of spearmint and hubbys is tobacco flavour. Had a quick look at suppliers but dont know where to start, the toabco flaovour on the first site had 10 different flavours. I am after strong menthol, the spearmint is too weak and sweet. Do i need anything else or just the flavoured liquids?
