Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Collie2011, I agree about the crystal clear vapours. The vanilla is quite nice, a bit short on flavour but the main problem is a chemical aftertaste. I've had the two bottles I ordered delivered this morning but the advice for both was to let them steep for a week or so. I've had mine 5 weeks and they still don't taste much better lol Sorry, I meant I'd ordered some from Vapology and Totallyvaped. They smell absolutely delicious but I'm resisiting vaping them.....for now. |

I was wondering if the wicks placed on top of the coil were a different diameter and this clears that up. Cheers. I have amended the guide a bit, few discrepancies, nothing major though  Oh right, so the additional wicks on top of the coil are not full pieces of wick, just thinner strands? Where is the best place to get the wire and wick from? Also, how would the vape differ if the coil head ohm was lower? I keep reading how people want a lower ohm on their coils. |

Could any of you helpful people please point me in the direction of exactly what I'd need to recoil a Kanger protank? I'm still an absolute noob to vaping but having watched so many videos it looks really easy and also fun to recoil these heads. I like the vape which I'm getting from the Kanger as it came so what size wick and wire would I need to try and replicate that? The coil head on the protank I'm using is 2.5 ohms and I'd also like to ask what a lower or higher coil head ohm would do with regards to the vaping experience?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I have some crystal clear vapours liquids but I don't really get on with them. They have a store in the market in the town centre here so they are good if I need something quickly but I won't be buying their juices again, I just found them too chemically and not very realistic in flavour. Hi Jibber and Welcome Try adding a few drops of green mint into the tank with the vanilla might spice it up a bit until you get new juices. Watch out as menthol can overwhelm any other flavour Thanks. Never thought of that, might try it. |

I did hear about the grants vanilla custard but it seems it's hard to get hold of. One I'll try to kop when it's available. The sample packs sound like a great idea so I'll definitely look into that. The vape is very airy with the protank like you said so I will block one of the holes up and give it a whirl. Never realised that blocking a hole up would increase flavour but it makes sense when you think about it. Thanks for the advice. Ash - thanks for the links, I'll check them out. |

Welcome Jibber ... where did you get your eliquid from ? Thanks. I got it from a shop in town. I did a lot of research before I took the plunge regarding mods etc but very little research into e liquids. I got a vanilla and one called green mint made by 'crystalclear vapours'. The green mint is way too menthol for me but the vanilla one is ok. I've got some Vanilla custard elixir from Totally vaped on the way and some Very Berry from Vapology on the way. I hope these will give me more flavour than the ones I've tried. |

Hi everyone. I'm very new to vaping, five days in but my journey to start vaping is I'd imagine a lot different than most. OK don't shout at me. I quit smoking four years ago January just gone using Champix and haven't touched a cig since. It was a struggle but I did it. The problem though is that I have gained almost two stone in weight and the final thing which pushed me into trying vaping was when last week I struggled to get into a suit I'd bought last summer. So I thought I'd try vaping to curb my appetite. I never put weight on all through my life, I could eat anything and my weight stayed the same but off the cigs I couldn't stop gaining. Sounds a bit crazy I know but that is where I am. I purchased a Sigelei V3 telescopic kit and received it on Monday. Didn't like the burnt taste I was getting with the supplied clearomiser and after reading up on here and other places ordered a Kanger protank which I got on Wednesday which performs a lot better. Just need some decent e liquid now as the vanilla one I'm using is getting dull.
