Best for me, hmmm probably the Vamo, after using it for about ten minutes I knew I would never have to go back to the stinkies, it made such a huge difference to anything and any juice I used on it. I hardly use it now but if it ever broke I'd buy another straight away, best back up known to vaping Worst was some dekang piña colada juice from Fasttech, even the memory of the taste makes me shudder brrrrrr yeuuggh! I sold it as part of a job lot in the classies, I felt terrible for the fella who bought it!

I realise this is hardly a 'modding' tip in the organic sense but I thought I'd post it up here anyhows... I got I sigelei 19b about 6 weeks ago in a GB organised by ukric, came with an unglued magnet and the fella even sourced a shiny brass bolt to mod the switch with but being a bit of an impatient bellend I started using it unmodded for a few days and managed to get the magnet so firmly stuck in the switch I couldn't for the life of me get it out again. TBH with the magnet switch the mod performs a bit crap, and so it sat on the shelf for 5 weeks until this evening when This arrived in the post, promptly installed with an o ring fitted around it like in the vid Here. Lo and behold it fires an absolute treat and the throw is nice and short, the 19b is a decent quality, solid, dirt cheap bit of kit it was a shame to leave it sitting there but I'm not really one for buggering about drilling and filing and fannying around because I'm a bit crack handed, so for 4 quid I'm made up! And I won't now be putting it in the classies, even better

I take off the top cap, the three side sections (as one) and the chimney and run it all under hot water, dry the parts with vaping roll, including the wicks (gently) then I dry burn and reassemble, fill her up with a new flavour and off I go again! Obvs if the wick is gunked when I open it up ill just rewick it, I've got it down to about three minutes now

My first order never arrived so we spent a week swapping emails and then they resent it, so it was two weeks before my stuff arrived, the second order placed on Thursday, I got a dispatch email on the Friday but it was postmarked the following Wednesday and I got it on the Friday so it took 8 days from ordering, their prices are great particularly if you bulk up, but the service is far from switched on IMHO.

I never look at tracking to be honest but I do check for my "despatched" emails which if they don't arrive has me logging on to check the order status, this is particularly the case with our friends at FT who seem to have no rhyme or reason to how long they take to despatch, regardless of what the stock level says. Once it's sent tho I never check again, it always turns up sooner or later

I could Mev, but would 13 mods be one too many? Nah, I'm at a plateau at the moment with where I want to go tbh, I'm done with dripping, my gennies are on the back of the rack, I'm loving silica rebuildables right now and I'm leaning towards dinky mechanicals rather than vv/vw. Once the next atty and mods arrive I'm going to spend a month or two on the learning curve then decide how I want to continue and get rid off some stuff so I can trade up to maybe just a couple of high end mods and attys Won't happen like that but you gotta have a plan eh

Well I cleaned it but to be fair it's brand new so whether or not there was anything to clean off is debatable, the connector still looked pristine. Tried each of the batteries and the efests were marginally better than the torchy ones but barely noticeable. The vape was the same on the 19b and noticeably less on the UDT, so I'm flummoxed especially as ukric is getting good results on the same mod out of the same batch and with a similar coil. Good news is I recoiled it to 1.2 and its now hitting the spot on a bare 18350 so I'm happy with that, particularly as I've another couple of mechanical mods on the way which I bought specifically to use in this format, the only pita is that at 1.2ohms I can't swap it over to a vw mod to do some 15w vaping without recoiling the KF. Gonna try and borrow a test meter to check the voltage drop on the mods because its doing my head in as to why I'm getting a poor vape, I imagine its a good deal more than .2v jimthecarper but then the N-Zonic is nearly five times the price of the sigelei's so there might be a clue there! Can anyone confirm the torchy batteries max safe amps? I'm thinking dual coils on the new Rose atty when it arrives. Thanks Si

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll try to answer with one post. The issue isn't with the kick which works fine, it's a sigelei and I can vape all day at 10 watts and a Sanyo 18500 icr battery but the kick isn't really the problem I'm trying to understand The 18350s which I want to use without the kick are Torchy 850mah flat tops and Im led to beleive they are imr, and also i have Efest 800mah imr button tops. The torchy are supposed to be high drain, and the efest says high drain on the label, do you have any opinion on them? All are less than 12 weeks old and have been charged no more than a dozen times each if that, because we have been using 18650s mainly in vv/vw mods. The calculation was straight off the ohms law calculator and I understand that the power will suffer losses through the mod, it's virtually brand new and looks clean as youd expect, but tomorrow after work I'll do as you suggest and clean all the contacts, I guess meths will remove any grease/muck that's on it? I'll do the same with the sig19b and the udt mod and see if any of them behave differently and post up. Thanks for now Cheers Si

Well the GVC turned up and I gotta say I'm not that impressed given the hype, I actually prefer perps PVC or even Liqua vanilla to be honest:( it's supposed to be pre steeped but I think I'll leave it another few weeks to see if it improves, impressed with the dream arty though at £22.00 it gives a nice vape. Waiting on a load of odds and sods...
Ithaka clone from fast tech Flavouring and Siam glass drip tips from alba Stainless drip tips from Garrydibley Res no res wires from stealth vape Ptfe drip tips from UKV More drip tips and Liqua juice from FT in a separate order A sample of nic base from China Seems like I can't spend an evening at the mo without ordering some bits and bobs or other, i need to find a cheaper way to stay in though

I've had this steeping at 3% for two weeks and tried it on the weekend, was a bit gutted when I Vaped it and all I got was a week taste of boiled cabbage I'll leave it for another week I think and if its not right then, then I'll double the amount of concentrate and see if that gives it any body

If you fancy it, can afford it, and have something equally classy to stick on the end of it, then just buy it! I must admit its a lovely looking thing and I wouldn't mind owning it, but then again you could have both a Provari and a Semovar for example and still be able to afford to take them for a pint. I'm vaping my kayfun lite at 15 watts when I need a good hit, and I'm sure I could make use of another five every now and again

Hi I'm currently using my kayfun on a mech mod with a kick set at 10 watts, the atty is coiled to 1.7 ohms and it vapes just how I like, however I want to use it in 350 mode and I can't get a decent vape from it at all.
Here's my thinking, using the same mod and after taking out the kick and inserting a fully charged 18650 battery, my 1.7 ohm coil should be hitting 9.5 to 10 watts, (given a fresh battery is 4.1-4.2 volts) but its absolutely rubbish to be honest with very little taste and 50% less vapour. Obviously as the battery runs down so will the vape and it'll happen a good deal faster when I use an 18350.
I guess the mod, a sigelei 8w, is taking some of the voltage hence the poor performance, so is there anything I can do to reduce this, and any tips on how I'd coil the kayfun to say 1.0 ohm or less, or any other tips if I'm missing something? Thanks all Si

Well done Mark, I think you came across extremely well. OK he didn't ask too many searching questions, but then too many journalists have already approached the subject with a predetermined opinion so it was good that you were given the opportunity to explain the equipment and the liquid in such a way as to not have to defend it, just show it for what it is.
