i have been doing this with my setups for about 9 months now. i personally do not think i will use, or even try, anything else. no real need for tipping your tank. i have forgotten what a dry hit is like, i now believe it is urban legend, hehe, dry hits..... i have been using my same .8 ohm coil (32 kanthal) on a Stainless Steel WIRE ROPE 316, 7x7, 1/16" wick for about 40 days now, i scrape, or chip, of the gunk off the coil every refill just to keep it purring like a kitten. simply amazing at how well this works and am surprised its not widley used and accepted. i have seen peices of ss wire advertised as wick for egigs on only 1 site, just recently to i might add. if i remember the site ill post a link. excellent share... <<<i got the wire rope from here>>> |
