I've just emailed Vapeescape and apparently the 1.8s are fine with the new Riva batteries. It just feels a bit 'dead', so I'll try a 2.4 when they arrive and see if it makes any difference.

Spot on Zeldamum. It doesn't say that on the page for the Rainbows or the Riva starter kit, but it's on the page for the batteries themselves (on Vapeescape). I've just sent for some 2.4 heads - can't see why I can't just swap out the 1.8 wicks that came with them?

I got one of these (@ 1.8 resistance) this morning. It's been spitting through the drip tip when I push the battery button and I have a feeling it's about to burn out after four hours as it doesn't seem too lively now. Is it likely to be just a dodgy wick/burner (I got spares for it), or is it something to do with it being lower resistance please? Or have I just bought the wrong kit? V3 rainbow rebuild able

Thanks Zeldamum - the clearo takes 1.8ml but, thinking about it, I possibly overfilled it a bit in my newfangled enthusiasm yesterday and might have moved the wicks or something. Anyway, it seems to have made a full and complete recovery :-)

Clearo - I'm new, so I get confused. It's the one that's like a little tank with a wick as opposed to wadding.

Anyone know if it's possible to get an air lock in a cartomiser please? The one I got with my kit (a non rebuild able clearmiser) suddenly refused to let liquid seep down the side for a while this afternoon. After much blowing, shaking etc it seems to be okay again. I've refilled it twice when it got to .6 ml, but is it something I've done wrong?

I read your posts Susie - both my batteries charged up to full in about an hour each, so I just took them off charge and left it at that (I used the charger from my 10motives cigalikes). I'm thrilled with my kit (I don't get out the house much these days :-)), hope you are too

No accounting for taste, Cheralynn. Personally I think it puts stinky cigs in the shade, all the flavour and none of the smoke and smell. I also got RY4 but I haven't tried it yet - I'll definitely be buying wolves again though.

Thank you, thank you. I've just taken my first few drags of 24mg 7 wolves and nearly blown my head off :-) It's certainly got more oomph than the (allegedly) 24mg prefilleds and is really nice! The whole kit is very simple and I wish I'd cottoned on to it a bit quicker as I can see how it saves money. I got a 30ml bottle of juice and it's hardly made a difference filling up. Happy days x

Hurrah! Postie's just brought my new Riva kit and I'm now a proper vaper! It's certainly different from the disposable cigalikes I've been used to :-)

I don't work on a computer, I just answer the phone so the wall charger rules. I have another five boxes of carts in the kitchen which should last me nearly a week so I think I'll just get the Riva kit instead of buying any more. I can get the kit and 60ml of liquid for what I'm paying for ten packs of prefilleds.

Lol sealover, were you trying to fill your cig while riding or something? I've got my eye on the 1100mah kit Ros, can't be doing with flat batteries. I'm drawn to the clearomisers as I like the idea of being able to see what's going on. Hello everyone else too - friendly crowd :-)

Even 3ml a day is a LOT cheaper than prefilled then. For those of us who lounge about working from home and vaping like a maniac between phone calls, will two 1100 batteries cut it, do you think? The ones I use now (VIP, about four months old) last about three hours so one goes flat just as the other's finished charging.
