How manyFreudians does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two. One to change the actual lightbulb and the other to hold the penis.
I mean ladder.

You’re all still confusing me, but thank you for the gracious welcomes – all of which had me smiling and laughing. Thank you also for taking my complaint in the manner I’d intended. Great to know you’re all blessed with a sense of humour.
Shinyitis is an all too well known condition in this house. I swear there’s magpie DNA somewhere in mine. Previous lifetimes have seen it manifested via both PC’s and Hi-Fi.
I’d like to get decent background knowledge before I embark on the plastic trail. Since there are so many helpful guides here I’ll hopefully not be re-asking all the obvious questions.
With the previously mentioned predilection for background knowledge, my post count will never be especially high, but I’ll try keep on topic.
I look forward to many fascinating debates with you all.
PS. Dolly, thanks to your post I will now be forever picturing you with a t-rex looking over your shoulder as you type. Your joke was much appreciated about the joys of predictive text.

To Whom It May Concern,
Having used for the AAEC forum for a week I am compelled to write a formal complaint regarding your blatant disregard for standard forum rules and etiquettes.
1) Lack of trolls.
As a long term forum user elsewhere this really strikes me as a glaring omission. This friendly and welcoming approach AAEC insists upon must be balanced immediately with a troll sticking his nose in and randomly flaming a passerby for little or preferably no reason. “Google it noob” is a world recognised standard.
2) Standard text speak replies.
Where are the de rigueur replies (especially when the replying poster has nothing to say) of “OMG WTH LOL”? This should be addressed forthwith. The continuing majority trend of people who actually choose to spell and punctuate correctly will only confuse users of non vaping forums who stumble upon AAEC.
3) Female forum users.
Everybody knows there are no women on the internet. You’re not fooling me.
4) Helpful moderators who actually moderate. This goes against many forums I’ve witnessed in the past. Whilst I silently applaud this behaviour, I can only assume the Moderators Guidebook on Being Unhelpful and Snooty was delayed in the post or caught by your spam filter.
5) Helpful advice for those new to vaping.
This addresses my major concern as someone new to the vaping scene.
Having started on a look alike e-cig (I won’t name the brand - you’d only laugh) I took the plunge and followed the oft repeated advice to start with a Riva 1100 kit. It not only works, but it’s simple and straightforward to use. Perhaps I’ve been on the wrong forums, but this appears to go against the standard forum practise of simply naming the most expensive option.
I look forward to your prompt actions addressing my concerns.
Yours faithfully, Confused of Glasgow.
For anyone still reading, thank you. The helpful friendly and unbiased advice has been a Godsend. I love my Riva and can’t believe that, after 30 years of smoking, tobacco was so simple to wish a fond farewell.
