Sorry to hear about that Sammy. My mother in law had COPD. She was diagnosed with it in her early 30's. She was also asthematic and smoked over 40 stinkies a day.. She stopped smoking when she needed oxygen 16yrs a day and still lived to be a ripe old 86yrs.. So don't despair... I started using an e-cig over 9 months ago and haven't had a single stinkie in that time and I smoked 40 a day too... Good luck hunni  She must have been a tough old cookie. 86 is a fine age. Oh Rosie was a girl alright and she lived in Spain for 25 years after being diagnosed with COPD.. She only came home once a year for a month but decided to live back here when she got to 78 as she felt it time to come home.. God rest her soul  |

I still remember as a child my dad being very violent to my mum until one day after years of it the tables turned, she had enough and gave him some of his own medicine, now she only has to give him a dirty look and he runs for the hills. At the risk of sounding extreme I can tell you that one night when the violent one had been out on the lash and came home and battered me (for what was to be he last time because he did it in front of my 3 year old daughter and twin babies who were only weeks old) he went to bed and promptly fell asleep.. I was still angry an hour later, so battered and bruised, I did no more than take my cast iron grill pan (the large square one with the ridges on it, which I still have and love) went upstairs and smacked him in his face full belt.. He didnt even move and I thought I'd killed him!!!.. 12 hrs later he emerged with 2 black eyes, packed his stuff and never returned... |

I read your posts Susie - both my batteries charged up to full in about an hour each, so I just took them off charge and left it at that (I used the charger from my 10motives cigalikes). I'm thrilled with my kit (I don't get out the house much these days :-)), hope you are too I'm also thrilled with mine Thing.. I wonder if your having the same buzz from the nic that I'm getting? I am only used to 14mg cigalike cartridge refills so maybe thats why I'm buzzing me bits off  |

I got mine today too and I have to agree it's so much better than cigalikes.. I'm only using 18mgs of nic and am having nic buzzes so no way could I be doing 24. I'm going to dilute mine with veg glycerine hahaha Enjoy |

I still can't resist coming on to this forum every night to see what's going on. It's more addictive than smoking ever was, mainly due to the characters on here. Was house sitting recently and didn't bother taking my laptop... started kicking the three cats (not really!)... but was definitely getting withdrawal symptoms. After reading Gradof 's brilliant opening post yesterday, it just reminded me of how lucky we are to be part of it, and not to abuse it. I thought, today, I'll stay off it and have a 'normal' evening... but here I am... is there a 'vaping' equivalent of kicking this habit? ??? Yeah it's called facebook  |
