susieshoes charger is fine, iphone one may be better try it. USB is a standard and anything with usb charger will work but iphone charger does put out higher current if ecig will accept it so try it. Back sounds painfull tip for future though stop jumping off wardrobe or if you do make sure you land on bed Haha Thanks for the charger advice but you seriously don't want to know how the spinal injury happened, unless you want to be reduced to a member of an angry mob!

Ignore the 8 hours thing susieshoes This used to be the advice given for new batteries of this type 2 or more years ago and somehow has lingered on - it used to appear in information sheets that got sent out in kits from China and I suspect they just never got around to changing it in some cases Just charge until the charger light goes green and you will be fine, no need or benefit for keeping on charge any longer. As to how long it takes, USB chargers do vary a bit, but from completely flat it usually takes 3+ hours. You would normally re-charge before it gets down to that level as you won't be getting much oomph from your battery as it gets lower There is certainly no need to run them right down before re-charging - you can put them on charge at any time as they have no memory. I'm not sure what you are plugging your charger into but you get best results going through a mains adaptor. If you plug into a computer USB port it can slow things down a bit, especially if you are using USB connections for other things at the same time. Thanks and yes I am using a mains charger but only the usb mains charger from my skycig charging kit. I also have one from my iphone that fits.. Do you think it makes a difference what make the charging plug is? as I didnt get one with the Riva. It has to be purchased seperately and I didnt realise when I ordered it..

Thanks for your replies folks.. I feel pretty dizzy (say nowt) and shakey so might be because I was using menthol stinks and only converted to skycigs (which as you all know are weak yet expensive) I'v bought 18mg's of nic juices so might need to try a weaker one when I next order? I guess it's a bit of trial and error with this vape lark.. susieshoes if you go to boots chemist you can get value health Glycerin B.P. (they sell as treatment for coughs & sore throat ) its VG and you can add a little ( I add 10% Vodka to it to dilute, some use distilled water) to your 18mg liquid to lower strength & you will be Vaping like a train (more VG = more imitation smoke) Oh thanks Fid sounds good. I am laid up right now with a back problem (ongoing for the past 20yrs) and waiting for 2 operations (one c spine and one lumbar) so can't get out without the hubby driving me.. I will do that on saturday though and thanks again

Susie from new my batteries have taken about 2 hours each to charge & someone said not to overcharge as the batteries can explode. I used to smoke about 15 Regal per day & I use approx a full clearo per day which is 1.6 mil, when I go out on the lash I use about half as much extra than that, I fill mine each night before going to bed so the wicks have plenty of time to soak, & I read on here never to let clear's go lower than 0.8 then you won't get the burnt taste, 0.8 is about half way so when mine reach half I change the clearo over, this works ok for me so I'm happy with it Ah thanks for that Din.. I'm happy I found you guys otherwise I'd be lost

Great news susie. Yeah thats fine to vape straight from the box as tgey come with some charge. The charger light will turn from red to green when it is charged. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Thanks Ros. I know it turns from red to green when it's charged but someone said the other day that you should leave it beyond that time and for something like 8 hours for it's first time charge?? I don't know how true this is though..

Crikey! My Riva has arrived.... I filled my clearomiser with some of the caramel sampler juice I ordered and whoosh.... It's mighty strong and has me a little shakey haha..... I am using one of the batteries straight from delivery. Is this ok? and does anyone know how long I should leave the batteries on charge for their first full charge time? I have the spare charging now.. Thanks in advance...

People I've spoken to who have been on Champix have said they got really vivid dreams on that, so it does sound like a withdrawal thing. I haven't had any vivid dreams myself but I wouldn't mind too much (Especially if Keanu Reeves featured) ;-) Hahaha Star I'm so with you on that!

djs are you from the North East? ??? Nah...I'm a Londoner. But my Dad's from Stanley (?) I think. He was a Magpies follower, so I followed too. I keep an eye out. They say nobody's perfect but being a Geordie comes pretty close

Sorry to hear about that Sammy. My mother in law had COPD. She was diagnosed with it in her early 30's. She was also asthematic and smoked over 40 stinkies a day.. She stopped smoking when she needed oxygen 16yrs a day and still lived to be a ripe old 86yrs.. So don't despair... I started using an e-cig over 9 months ago and haven't had a single stinkie in that time and I smoked 40 a day too... Good luck hunni
