Geordie ... I've tried stacking 18350s in the useless carvella clone mod I have ... The tubes are way too long for ordinary 18650s so I thought 2 350s might work ... Nope .. They fire but too long ... Gonna bin that useless chunk of metal Why don't you get some 10mm magnets and stick it to the 18650 to make it longer? ClickyI have tried twisted coils using 0.25, twisted with a drill bit.. Can't seem to get a stable resistance. Thanks maccafan I've ordered some and will give it a go  |

Back on topic ... There are a lot of good guides here ... The common problem with cotton is to use too much ... Remember ..less is more. You should be able to pull the wick back and forth through the coil with a fair/ medium amount of resistance

My old V3 had a circular cardboard stick on washer type insulator on the top end ... But it prevented my button top batteries making a good contact ... I'm sure nipple tops would've been fine but I didn't have any .... So I picked the cardboard ring off and it worked fine after that ..... Not suggesting you do it but it might be worth trying as a last resort
