it. ell done siffy. When I gave up smoking last time it was the hand to mouth action I missed more than anything, nicotine withdrawal is all in the mind, abit like changing to decaf. There are no known side effects with giving up nicotine, there are with giving up stinkies because of all the other rubbish in them. I have gone from 36mg 11 months ago down to 16mg during the day and 10mg in the evening and find that too strong sometimes. However as I have so much nic base I wont be quitting the nic just yet, but will be cutting it down over a period of time. I have no doubt at all that you will find It easy to do. The only reason I jumped to zero was I wanted it over with tbh, the slight dread. Like you I believe nicotine away from the chemicals is nothing to worry about, I read enough on the subject my eyes nearly bled....lol I still had that slight niggle of worry so rather than it build in my mind for the next 12 weeks I just jumped. I too will miss the hand to mouth, might even use a straw if I need to. Just so pleased to have broke the link with the TH side of things. That was no were as near as difficult as I'd built it up to be. Good luck (you won't need it) to anyone else going down the zero nicotine route, for whatever reason you want to get to zero. The worst really is over (in your 1st 3 month of switching) and it's no nearly as scarey as you think.

Well done siffyI personally like the feeling that i get from nicotine, so will vape it as long as is possible. It is my only vice these days along with the naughty sandwich I have on a Friday :-) But good on you. I don't blame you, like you say you enjoy the felling. For me I suspected the nicotine was just giving me that much loved TH, so, tried zero menthol and was right...all wasabout the TH..lol It's Friday...enjoy your sandwich.

Last time I checked in I was considering purchasing an eRoll and something just clicked in my head.
I had been reducing the nic mg by 1ml every Monday and had got myself calmly down from 18mg to 12mg. Last Friday I just thought..sod it, just jump!
I went to zero and am totally doing fine. All I notice is a little more hungry than normal and feel a bit tired around 8:30pm.
The ironic thing, for me, was my total fear was I would be hooked to nicotine forever. I have personally found nicotine to be a sheep in wolf's clothing, that once it's army of chemicals are removed it's a little bit like the Wizzard Of Oz big reveal....not a lot there.
I am no way saying that is everyones experience as I was sadly one of the ones that went through a hellish chemical detox, so that is maybe why I am finding the no nicotine a breeze?
I plan to vape zero for the next month then put it away but it will always be around filled with zero nicotine if I get an urge.
I hope nobody minds me posting this but I am just so made up and wanted to share.

I would, if it's less than buying cigs. It's not a hobby to me I just want the nicotine fix without smoking. So my main concern is juice strength and price. You said strength /flavours would remain as is, so yes I would accept that compromise. Same for me.

All those years of finishing the Xmas dinner and then off for a cig........Tomorrow its French pipe with a touch of Vanilla on the Spheroid If you'd have told me that last year I'd have laughed my **** off Like my old boss always said "You never know what's round the corner" congratulations, my first one in 30 years so I understand the sheer joy you must feel. Did you also notice that "will I have enough cigs to last me?" Feeling was no longer there? I loved that I didn't nip out Christmas Eve stock piling to cover me for Christmas and boxing day, the freedom is heavenly.

Haemorrhoid cream is supposed to be the best cream for wrinkles. Models have been using it for many years. I have read this myself, forgot all about it. Well if the Clarins doesn't roll them away preparation h it is, will give owt a go...apart from chip pee fiddles...live to far from Colchester Zoo to source it. Unless of course I buy me a chimp with the money saved on not smoking...grin

So nice of them to not only notice, but say so too. Glad you had a such a lovely day. It's been a goodly while since I treated myself to Clarins. Went to their site to discover they're having a Boxing Day sale and it's on special offer! www.clarins.co.uk Thanks for the reminder of sorts. I see up to 40% off.....wow! Might stock up myself too, thanks for the link.

Hope you all had a great Christmas day and enjoy today too.
While giving each other our Christmas gifts yesterday our Lucy commented that my skin looks so amazing. She said not being horrible mum but when you smoked your skin used to look pasty and Creasey. Hubby then said that the best Christmas present he has ever had in his 42 years of life is that I now no longer smoke. I just thought that was so lovely really, that I've not only made myself happy freeing myself of the expence of it all, but that I truly have made the Siffords happy too.
A great gift to myself and others around me. I will say that I didn't request any vaping gear as compared to most I am a low key vaper, device wise. I did however hope santa would bring me the Clarins eyecare set to iron out the few stubborn wrinkles around my eye (ladies their youth booster set has preformed miricales on my face!) So very pleased that santa listened and and will soon roll away the smoking years on my skin.
