I'll be honest I think I would be offended you know. Obviously bear in mind I have been with an avid none smoker for 19 years and that might have reconditioned me? I just think I vape because I'm an addict, and I know addicts can be selfish so would think I was being selfish doing it around non vapers. As I say, I've been with an anti none smokers for 19 years and had I been with a smoker I might feel different, I'll never know. I was terrible really and would smoke my head off during the films, one every half hour no doubt. I'll be h8nest I don't ever remember feeling terrible, or that I might be spoiling it for others with the smell, of distracting smoke. When I look back makes me feel embarrassed now really. It was a different age back then. Persecuting people for smoking was considered rude back then not a divine right like it is now. Sent from my GT-N7100 using proboards Yes, you're right. As I say I suppose it's living with 3 non smokers/vapers and none of my friends or family do, except me dad. I think I've just become conditioned that's all. At one time nearly everyone I knew smoked. |

The smell can be offensive to some as my husbands office banned vaping in the control room, due to the different pungent smells. Smells aside though I for one wouldn't enjoy a night in a cinema or eatery if there were clouds of vapor whizzing up in the air every five minutes and I'm a vaper. I remember when cinemas used to have such a thick fog of smoke you could barely see the screen  I for one wouldn't openly vape and blow out vapour anywhere where people were in a confined area with me (apart from my car or house.) Doesn't mean I'm offended by others doing that, I just wouldn't do it myself. I'll still stealth vape ANYWHERE I'll be honest I think I would be offended you know. Yes it is a problem with children around xs2man. Yesterday I was looking after my 19 month old great grandson, he was looking at me quizzically whilst I was vaping,(no-one else in the family smokes),I decided there and then that I would put all my vaping stuff out of sight, and resolved never to vape when he is here. Vaping may be better than smoking but, we don't want to encourage it in children do we. No we don't Phoenix .I am on day two of a streaming cold, totally pants! But I honestly don't think it will end up on my chest as if feels clear. Normally a cold leads to two bottles of cough mixture for me. I have enjoyed not having the morning first cough as a non smoker very much, and had forgotten I used to get that until reading it here. |

fiddlesSimply because I believe it would upset others. If it does them no harm, doesn't smell bad, isn't offensive, then they are only upset because they are ignorant? So, what is the moral position on not upsetting people who wouldn't be upset if they knew better ??? I found USA mix to be good and unflavoured e liquid it fab as it tastes of nothing but hits your throat, just like my cigs did. I only stopped using VE USA mix as I started to get a slight sweet, honey like note, coming through. That could have just been my taste buds though. For a pure and simple cig like experience I can't rate unflavoured enough.

Started on 70/30 vg and loved the throat hit, was pefect for me. Have developed a pg sensitivity that gives me a very itchy scalp so am now 25/75 vg. Am getting used to the less TH and am just glad the itchy scalp has stopped. I accidently filled up my iclear with an old 70/30 the other day and got a terrible chemical type burn soreness on my tongue. So it will be 25/75 for me all the time now.

Oh I still love the smell of fresh tobacco smoke too but obviously not overly keen on the smell of stale smoke as you can imagine. I just think our poor families had to put up with the unplesant smell. I'm just glad I never smoked indoors ever and that the staleness has not soaked into the sofa and home furnishings.

pretty hard, no pun intended, to agree with you considering your thread title, maybe you should think more about the thread title before you post if you are so embarrased, and being male or female in this day and age has no bearing what so ever imo, ok maybe a little bit cos i'm a gent. Well the thread title was first called help with my mvp and changed to the current name after my post, if you check back on the posts after mine you will see this. So yes you are right I would never have joined in had the orig title be what it is now. Not a prude but not a thread as a lady I would want to get drawn into. |

You mustn't use the word "Stiff" it upsets some of the old biddies. I'm not old or upset but was and am embarrassed at a lot of grown men discussing errections from a post I posted in innocence and in a helpful manner. So yes, it might be a good idea to think in future that the poster is female and the rest of us posting around her posts are male, it might make her feel uncomfortable....it did. |

I have found the site becoming almost a vaping forum with porn thrown in, not enjoyable for me anymore. I am gutted to have got involved in a thread asking about the button on the mvp to it suddenly being retitled something about having a stiffy. I would hate members to think I went into it knowing it was silly boy rude. So instead I now take no chances and don't post and that's not because I'm a prude but the site just seems to be going rude for the sake of it. It srops being funny and just becomes vulgar. I am so sorry you feel that way siffy. This is a brilliant forum for the promotion of e-cigs, BUT we all need a bit of humour to lighten our day. Some of the topics may have encouraged double entendres, but the warning we've had from Proboards will have made all of us more careful that we don't lose this voice, or overstep the mark. Don't let us lose this forum, and to you, please don't stop posting. I'm sure lessons have been learned! I can understand the humour, I honestly can, but would imagine it to be more suited to the lounge than on the general thread. I just think there is a time and place that's all. I like a good carry on film like the next person. I think this warning hopefully might just make people think before they post which does none of us any harm. |
