Way to go Roachie, theres really no need to be scared of mixing, just remember to make small batches as you do'nt want to be throwing out 20ml and 30ml of juice if it does'nt work out.
Look forward to seeing how you progress.

Sorry guys but it is easier to show someone than try to explain, but here goes anyway.
When you take a drag on your e-cig normally you take the vapour into your mouth first and then inhale the vapour into your lungs, so it all collects in your mouth first.
Well the only difference is that you leave your airways open so that some of the vapour is allowed to be inhaled directly into your lungs, rather like when you take a sharp intake of breath, but much more gently. Do'nt try to take all the vapour straight down as that will feel as if your sucking through a pin hole and wo'nt feel comfortable.
As I said it's much easier to demonstrate than try to explain, perhaps someone else can offer a better explanation than I can. All I know is that you get a better flavour hit this way.
It does take a little practice but after a day or two becomes natural.

Yes it tickled for me to for the first week, try allowing less vapour into your lungs to start with and then work up.

I do'nt know about you guys but my taste buds are so shot that I hardly taste juices when doing a normal mouth inhale, like I did when I was a smoker. When I do a mouth inhale I get a weak taste of the juice I'm vaping for the first 2 pulls, then nothing, I might as well be sucking air. But I learned a pretty neat vaping method from over on the ECF forum when I first started vaping and will try to explain it to you.
What you do is, when you take in your vapour leave your airways to your lungs open and allow some of the vapour to go directly into your lungs, do'nt force it as it will feel as if your sucking through a pin hole, just allow what will flow naturally. You still do an inhale as you do now but on the exhale you'll taste more of the flavour of your juice and the flavour will be more consistent. This does take a little practice but after a day or so will start to feel natural, and after a few days will become second nature.
Also try taking draws on your e-cig from either side of your mouth, I find that drawing through the left side of my mouth produces the best flavour for me.
This method seems to benefit long term ex-smokers who's taste buds are really bad. I've shown this method to a few people who had trouble tasting their juices and it worked for them.
So give it a try if your taste buds are bad, you never know.

If I suffered like you mate I'd be trying everything and anything that may help. Hope the anti-histemines work but you wont know for a couple of days as they do take time to go to work on your system.

I always push out the the centre pin from the connector and solder my wire on then carefully push the silicon washer back in before pressing the centre pin back in.

I'm trying to work out how on earth you can be allergic to PG and VG.
PG is used in a lot of foodstuffs, also it is in asthma inhalers, it's used for oral vaccinations for babies and young children and hospitals use it in their ventilation systems to help combat MRSA.
Glycerine, or VG if you like is used in most confectionary produce.
I'm not saying that you ar'nt having a reaction to PG and VG I just think that if it is the case then that is really bad luck.
Try taking a anti-hitamine every morning for a few weeks, it just might help.
I really feel for you.

I dont spend much on Hardware at all as vaping exclusively at 5v I have my GDPT at home and my Box 101 for out and about, I've also got loads of batts, stocked up on nic juice to last well over a year, got 200 801 cartos which should also last a good while, the only thing that is hard to stock up on are flavourings. Some you can get in bulk size, others you can't.
But for me most of the money I've spent on vaping has been on flavourings, but even that cost comes down once you've found the right ones.

I ca'nt do that I'm afraid. I have a few flavourings that I know I probably wont use after finding better ones, but then I am a stickler when it comes to my recipes and always look to get the best taste I can.

By the way, the best Custard flavouring I've tried is from F'art. Same with Coconut.

What Rum are you going to use as I'm having great difficulty tracking Rum flavourings down, only LF do one and from what I've read on the site reviews it's not like Rum in taste. At the moment I use Asda Rum flavouring which is not bad but it is a white Rum and I'm desperately looking for a dark Rum. The LorAnn Butter Rum is quite good but you ca'nt get it any more and LorAnn wo'nt ship it.
You'll have to let us know how your next concoction turns out.

I've learned that if you do'nt allow your cartomiser to run dry and top them up before they run out they will last as long as any atomiser.
Sure it means toping them up more frequently but they will last longer.
I used to use BE112 atty (801 style) because I loved the flavour these give, but using them at 5v they only lasted me 4 to 5 days and at £23.49 for 5 it was proving a little expensive. I now use 801 cartomisers from Eastmall and keeping them topped up I'm getting 2 to 3 weeks use at 5v.
I've done the same with 510 and KR 808's as well and they have also lasted well.
