The wrap turned up today, took less than a week from the USA! A partial success I'd say. Not flawless but it'll do.

Love it! feels awesome in the hand. Only 18350 though (I've gotten used to my 3400mah 18650s!). Detailed and long-winded review will be posted in a day or two!

Yeah your MVP wouldn't fire that build. No VV device would! Sub-ohming (building coils that have a less than 1.0 ohm resistance) is something you shouldn't attempt without researching it first as there are very real safety issues if you don't know what you're doing. You might be able to make a quad coil of around 1.2 ohms but you'd have to use very thin wire and a lot of it! I'd stick to your dual coils for the time being mate, much safer and less throat scorching! they're all I vape these days. The quad coil was just an experiment.

Good thing about this device is that you can remove the screws from the posts and lay the wires down on the slots. Makes multiple coils a breeze! That's a tidy looking quad coil! Thanks What's the total ohm reading, allowing for the four coils and what was the wire gauge. Hope its ok asking. What voltage/wattage are you running when you fire it up? And what wick are you about to run in it? Sorry to ask so much but I love my Trident and am getting well into coiling on it. I can't see me wanting another RDA.
No sweat buddy! It was 0.30mm kanthal. Came to 0.25ohms! I used it on a mech mod with a fresh battery at 4.2v. This means I was vaping at 70 watts! I'm not sorry I tried it but it was way way too intense for me! Might try it again with thinner wire to bring up that resistance a bit. If you're interested in trying a build like this make sure you know the amp limits on your batteries. You'll need a battery with a 20amp max discharge rate (I use the samsung INR 20amp batteries) or there could be serious safety issues!!

Who knows what backroom horse-trading is going on in China with Innokin's products? It seems that Innokin has set a minimum retail price for their equipment. FT and other vendors are finding creative ways to skirt around these. I would be perfectly confident of your SVD's authenticity, it's a great mod. Here's another example, Vaporbreak actually claimed that this is a clone! I don't believe that for a minute. May be the first time a vendor has claimed a genuine product is a clone to avoid pissing off a manufacturer!

I wouldn't sweat the yellow light. Mine seems to go yellow at about 3.8v. These batteries will stay at 3.7v for a long stretch, it's only when they hit around 3.5 (red light) they'll start to drop off rapidly.

I first set mine up with 3x 2mm silica as per the instructions. Found this gave me dry hits so tried again with a cotton/microcoil set-up. Big improvement! No dry hits, no gurgling no leaking!

I like that Super-Shiny! I had an idea for a custom job but they're quite a bit more expensive. Also I can see me making a real pig's ear of applying this wrap. jaysey I've heard on reasonably good authority that they're sticky enough to hold but not so sticky that they can't be removed.
