Hey all, Got this on Thursday from BAVapes but it's just not for me : SOLD TO DiThis is the v1.1 version which comes with an additional longer chimney & tank section to hold more liquid ( around 4ml apparently? ), and also has longer post screws for catching the coil wire better. Has had one tank of liquid through it and then all parts, excluding the base, were rinsed out with hot water. Looking for £25 delivered by 1st class recorded - SOLD TO Di

Is it just me or is the battery cap held on with 2 allen bolts at one side only?
Wouldn't that be a bit insecure?

Not seen a Wotofo and was unsure about the GearBest one. Someone over on the ECF Forum bought the GearBest one and didn't have any complaints, so it might be worth the risk.

Must be running hot, sold out already! Goblin 1.1, could not find 1.2. moodyb lets us all know your thoughts once you have it up and running? GT2 (from FT) is going great but only have new juice to try so jury still out. Lots more air, the tank needs a massive clean to get rid of the machine oil taste. Only using 2 holes (each side)at present on a 1.4 coil. First build I made too low, around 0.25ohms, and used a bit too much cotton in the channels, so it gave me a nic rush & I wasn't getting the throat hit & flavour I need. So I left it for a day & I've just rebuilt it tonight at around 0.5-0.6 ohms instead, with much less cotton in the juice channels too, and so far it's working better. Better throat hit and better flavour than the first build, although I've only vaped around 1ml so far. I'll see how it is by the end of the tank. I might try open wraps on the coils rather than micros after reading a thread on UKV about the differences in vape between open & closed/micro coils. The only problem I'm having is that I can't quite get a draw I like. Think I'm too used to the draw / flavour on my Origen v2 clones really. For a comparison then I'd say it's basically a dual coil Kayfun lite, with much more airflow. At around 20-25w its a warm vape too, due to the small chamber & chimney so it's probably better suited to tobacco flavours rather than my daily vape of peppermint menthol.

I am living the genesis version 2 clone, 4 ml tank and it has big 4.5 mm wick holes for cotton builds, though haven't tried as I prefer steel wicks. That looks rather tempting, why have you gone and done that to me! Chris I think the one sold on GearBest is one of the better versions of the genesis v2 clone. Avoid the Fasttech one unless you like tinkering from what I've read. VapingBad is probably the best to recommend which clone is better. Vaping Shozza did a review of the Wotofo clone, but I haven't found it for sale anywhere in the uk yet.

Think it was in stock late last night. It was definitely listed as v1.2 earlier today, so they must have changed that. It should arrive tomorrow hopefully, so I'll post my thoughts once I've had a few ml through it.

"Have you spent or are spending too much on devices, etc?" Yes, especially in the past 2 months. Still much less than I would have on cigs though, which is the most important thing. Up until December I was happy with my mech+dripper combo but got bored changing / charging batteries n dripping frequently, which made my buy / try various tanks during Nov & Dec to get a more hassle-free vape. I've kind of gone full circle though & back to the dripper ( used to how my liquid tastes in the dripper compared to tanks ) although I do have a Sat22 clone arriving from SlowTech soon to try, and want to try the UD Goblin too. I still use the mech when my box mod is charging. Definitely been bitten by the box-mod-bug though Currently on my 3rd in just over a month, and will add another one when MyEpack get the blue M65's in stock

goblin (where the hell did that come from?) but sounds bloody good, price? I've only seen BAVapes with it so far ( they're out of stock atm ) and it was £27.95. I'm sure more vendors will have it in over the next few weeks.

It's top of my list as well.
If it doesn't leak & is close to my Origen v2 clone in flavour then I'm sold.

Another option is the UD Goblin. Bucketloads of airflow and excellent flavour too, going by the reviews on Youtube & the guys over on UKVapers anyway. Review by Martyn Parker here. Holds 3ml & is only 42mm tall ( 46mm if you include the 510 connector ). It is dual coil though, but I'd image you could also run it single & block off 2 of the juice channels.

I'm fairly certain the only differences compared to the M50 are pass-through charging & an extra 15w.
Think the screen timeout is longer too at 1min, but I've seen posts on ECF from people with M50's that have a 1min timeout also. My M50 goes off after 15secs.
