Hey all, Just noticed that Smok have listed a UK dealer who can do the firmware upgrade to 65watts if anyone needs it done : www.smoktech.com/ArticleDetail.aspx?ArticleID=10015You will need to pay for shipping to & from them though. Think I'll call tomorrow & see if I can take mine in & get the upgrade done while I wait.

im thinking of going down the box route.. and more watts.. thats a cracking offer though... If you do go for more watts & a box mod then I'd be tempted to get batteries that'll cope better than the Imren ones. Good thread with a list of recommended 18650 batteries here

Still a bit expensive compared to Muji themselves, but its £2.30 for 10 sheets of Muji from RedJuice

Not seen a Wotofo and was unsure about the GearBest one. Someone over on the ECF Forum bought the GearBest one and didn't have any complaints, so it might be worth the risk. I ordered one of the GearBest clones over the weekend, so I'll let you know if its any good / has any problems when it arrives.

What colour are the Imren batteries?
Yellow ones are rated for 20 amps from what I've read, but I'm not sure about the others.

It has 4 small allen screws in the base, which aren't good for your blood pressure The Sigelei has a magnetic door which is much easier to deal with.

Think it also has longer post screws, as the v1.0 had a problem with smaller gauge wires apparently.
Read about quite a few people replacing the screws over on UKV and ECF.

Do you have any plastic dual 18650 battery cases close at hand?
The Smok M65 & the Sigelei Mini 30watt are very similar in size to one of these :
The battery case is wider than the box mods, by a few mm.
The box mods are just a bit taller though, by around 5-10mm.
That'll at least give you a rough idea how they feel to hold.

i have a huge selection of batteries now and like the fact i have enough to last me a few days in between charging. What kind of 18650 batteries? The Sigelei will need decent ones to run at 30w with a bit of headroom. 0.4 ohms @ 30watts is 8.5 amps, so you'd ideally need batteries capable of at least 15amps, just to be on the safe side.

I tried the eGrip but it was a bit too small in the hand for me. I bought a nautilus bvc tank a couple of months ago and couldn't get on with it no matter how hard I tried. Was really harsh for me no matter what I did. When you say the Egrip was too small, in what way? Height, width, depth? Or all of them? Knowing this will give people a better idea of what box mod to recommend.

If you want to swap batteries out frequently then go for the Sigelei over the Smok. Changing batteries on the Smok M65 is &
