What I'm experiencing is that the dip tip is getting wet not with the juice but with water vapor any idea how not to have this or it's normal?

I just made a new coil and I made it as what you @freefromsmoking made it and it worked well . I will now look to see if I can get a new Taifun Gt clear tank to put it on.

Apologies. I will read the posts properly next time lol Certainly if your corner is not drilled out properly it will restrict the flow of juice and cause poor wicking. No problem it's what I'm thinking hope I get to do it well as I have to get a good SS drill bit

From your pic, I try to get my coil lined up perpendicular (is that the right word) to the juice channel. It looks from the pic that the cotton may move away from the channel once saturated. I find it better having the cotton drop straight down to just above the juice channel/groove It's not mine I just get that picture online to show Timbo if his groves are same like that one as my clone aren't like that in the corner so I will try to make the corner hole .

Got it to work now, thanks a lot for all the tips. The 1.8 has gone up to 2.1 now, not really getting much vapor at 14w. Looks like I got a free whistle with it as well. I suppose you get what you pay for. Timbo ... if you don't mind an airy draw, remove the air flow grub screw entirely and the whistle will disappear Just removed my screw as it was what it was making me crazy and it worked much better Thanks for this @freefromsmoking . I still need to fix where the juice enter as the corner is't drilled /machined well like this picture and I guess it's not entering enough liquid. Timbo try to look and see if yours are same like this pic. I try to take a pic of mine when I open it to recoil it

Thanks @freefromsmoking I will make this when I recoil my next one as I can see better how you make the legs to the connection screws as I'm doing them the opposite of yours and will do same with the cotton, but will try to get some organic cotton balls as the ones I got are pads and they make me crazy when it comes to roll them. Thanks for these great pictures You are very welcome melitahams .... I just use cheap cotton balls from my local pharmacy ... as long as they are not scented I don't reckon it makes any real difference whether they are organic But you boil them ? as what I have is 100% cotton wool but is bleached with oxygen is this good?

Varying resistance like this is usually an indication the the coil is getting gunked up melitahams ... may be time for a dry burn or a new coil? Its a new coil @freefromsmoking when it makes like that and I still cannot get the reason why Guess I find the reason why I'm having this issue as I found some info on another forum which says like this: Be cautious of completely removing the positive coil screw and the 510 center screw at the same time. The positive disk inside the base is fairly loose and likes to move around if both are removed and could be a problem to get all lined up. My experience wasn't to bad, I was able to get the 510 center screw started and just turned it until I could see the threaded hole for positive coil screw was lined up. So it could be that or its not in place or its not tight enough I will try it later when I have to recoil it as for now its working well
