anyone had any issues with this vendor ? Recently yes, email them and tell them your concerns of delivery. I'm emailing Angela all days now and no success, she just said that one of her customers told her that had received the item after a month but I don't believe it . If by this week I won't receive it I open another dispute on Paypal and guess I won't look on another Magoo |

I cannot see if there should be any shorts with a pre-made coil melitahams, best way to tell though is put some juice on the wick/coil and fire it up, the coils should all stay the same color and not glow until the juice has evaporated, if one of the wraps of coil glows before the rest then make some adjustments, i.e even them out evenly I will try to make another when I have my mind ok as honestly I went so crazy. I will try to get some silica as well and try to build on silica instead of ekowool as now I finished it all.  . Thanks for the help. For now I had build 2 with silica and the normal wire I use to use and they worked well. |

If the wire is ok and you are flaming the wire and the silica, and the coil is not wrapped too tight the only thing that I can think of that would cause the burnt taste is that the coil might be shorting when you reassemble the protank ... is the resistance still 1.8 ohms when the protank is on the evic? Yes all of the pre-made coils I had used so far are 1.8 ohm when I test them on the Evic and on the multimeter. But if it shots I guess it won't fire up. |

Holy crap it seems that the Magoo cannot come in my hands as it already 2 weeks from when I ordered it again from Vaperus and I guess it won't arrive anyone had any issues with this vendor ?

I did tried again and no success so I give up and used the normal wire I use to use before and they come both perfect. Could be the pre made wires are build badly ? If yo.u have a multimeter you could check the resistance of the wire before you make the coil so that you don't waste time making the coil with a faulty wire. The pre made wires always shows 1.8 ohm or you mean something else @freefromsmoking? I do have a multimeter but the problem is the burn taste |

Tricky one then melitahams, are the coils coming out at 1.8, as opposed to that's what they should be? Yes they show at 1.8 0hm Bluefish as the coils are premade from Stealth Vape. |

Very strange as a 1.8ohms should be fine at 8 watts / 3.8 volts The only thing i can think of is: Coil is too tight and it is strangling the wick Or The wick is not saturated enough with juice  I will try to coil another one tomorrow as now I made a micro coil and it vapes like a train could be like what your saying I'm doing them very tight. |

Do you give the coil a few pulses to burn off any residue before using? Yes I do I start with 3 sec for 3 times than 4 sec again 3 times than I drop some drops on it and again I burn it |

melitahams when you connect the Protank to the eVic is it reading 1.8ohms? Yes Super-Shiny Now I put it to 5.5 watts =3.14V and it reduced a bit |
