It's an Xtar SP2, if you want to look it up. just looked it up-I'll happily take it off your hands if that's not too much of a problem- looks ideal for a rebuild for future upgrading of my kit. Send me a pm with how much postage funds/ beer tokens you require for it and I'll PayPal you in a day or 2 . ATM only have 510 batts yes but as I have a serious addiction to anything shiny electrical/ mechanical and intend to upgrade as soon as funds allow it might be of use to me especially if I can adapt it to use with my remote control batt charger which charges/ discharges cycles and measures pretty much anything known to man.
If you can wait a few days I'll look one up on the web on my days off and see if I can use it( or fix it for you to have back even)

I've got an Xtar charger which I don't intend to use anymore (the adaptor blew up when plugged in, and although I don't know whether this did any harm to the charger itself, I'm not going to take the risk). Is that any use to you? Thanks for the offer but I think Dave above has sorted me out. Mind you out of curiosity what type of thread is it( I do hate junking anything that might be recycleable lol) Cheers Richie |

I'm gutted. Decided I'm a total convert to vaping- 10 days sans tobacco now and no intention of going back but work have me off thurs and fri in on sat and off sun and mon.
Would have loved to get a few juice samples/ purchases and maybe something Pyrex to go with my ego batts as due to a sensitive taste/smell ( I can smell sugar in coffee and my sense of taste / smell is improving) I'm getting a hint of burnt taste on a fresh charged batt on most of my ce4 thingies.
I guess bottom coil Pyrex and variable voltage is my next step;)

I've got a knackered Riva and a DOA ego charger somewhere richieh will have a dig around for them later and see if I can find them. That'd be really helpful, wasn't really sure where to put the request but knew if I got it wrong someone better in the know would sort it or put me right. Cheers Richie |

As per title- am after a dead battery and charger so I can build a battery testing/conditioning rig. Would rather not strip a working set of my own as I am a proper tightwad Intents are to measure charge/discharge rates and capacities etc along with deep discharge/recharge cycles to maximise the battery lifespan/usefulness etc. obviously would pay postage /inconvenience etc cheers Richie |

Well thought it was time I knocked the tobacco on the head as I never really enjoyed it that much- just used to use it as a delivery vehicle for smoking 'something else' ( embaressed smiley)in my younger days but my body got to like the nic much to my surprise lol.

Thanks for the welcome. As a side effect of my hobby of rc cars planes and helicopters I've got some decent electrical analysis gear and a few high quality chargers. Once I can rig up some adapter cables etc I'll measure what I can and report back. My instinct is tho that these are cheapo Chinese electrics with a high tolerance on components so a variation is likely with charging cut offs. Will see if I can back this up with numbers in a few days. Cheers Richie |

As per thread title really- dumped tobacco last Friday and started vaping- not missing it at all as yet ;-)
basically just reading up as much as I can at the moment but sure I can contribute a little and ask a lot more;)
currently vaping blueberry at 16% nic after smoking gv at about 50g a week and liking it better than tobacco tbh.
we shall see how it goes.

My first post on here so be nice lol.
I have exactly the same symptoms- wont call it a problem yet.
I've got a power meter that measures exactly how many mah(that's how much electric volume if you consider a battery like an empty bottle) that a battery will take. I'll hook it up to the both chargers and a few different batteries to see what results I get later this week but I suspect that one charger is still trickle charging( trying to put tiny amounts of power) the battery when its close to full whereas the other charger shuts off quicker possibly before the battery is 100% full- maybe around 95% full or thereabouts.
In other words one charger is charging the battery more fully than the other.
Hope this makes sense- more detailed results to follow in a few days.
