I must say I have mixed feelings about the e-grip. With a bit of persistence and some help from blakey I did mange to get the RBA up and running without chucking out juice on a regular basis. However, after very little use the battery life went down to very little and finally I couldn't charge it up at all. Fair play to Joytech UK though, they sent me a replacement and a pre-paid envelope to return the old one and now it is working OK - though I wouldn't say the battery life is great. It is very good though when you getting working correctly. If I have understood this thread correctly, it is now possible to get a CL base that would fit the old egrip and use the Ego One CLR coils which are not so fussy in terms of rebuilding compared to the original RBA? Alternatively there is the option of getting the new egrip OLED which will take the CLR coils. I notice though that there is a CS and a CL version of the OLED, so it would presumably have to be the CL version Yes, the cl version takes the cl coils and they are very good indeed. I also got the cl bases and they fit the original egrip and work an absolute treat. This is how the egrip should've been.

I only picked it up yesterday Blakey. I fannied about with it all day, all I kept getting was a Kanthal like taste. It's very easy to set up with the post clamps which is a good job the amount of coils I tried in it! I even had a NiChrome coil in it at one point, still tasted crap. The coil in it now tasted a bit iffy at first but seems to have bedded in now, other users are saying it's the best flavour dripper they've had, beating the Rose. I must be doing something wrong cos it don't come close to an Eviva or Rose for taste. Too much airflow for me as well, has 6 holes although the AFC ring has 3 slots so you can just use 1 bank, I only have half of one hole open. Might try Ni on it later but tbh, I prefer a 1.5ohm on .25 Kanthal. Been umming and erring over this one, fancied the bf Base. I think I'll let you play for a while and report back. I was thinking temp control on the dna200 when it arrives.

The stock 1.8 coils are great for standard mtl The stock .4ohm coils are great for lung hits The rebuildable sections are seriously crap in any nickel configuration Even with kanthal I've had to use a single nr leg to stop the glowing
But if you take the time and build a vertical kanthal coil with a short nr leg for that bottom connection then they work very well, inner diameter of the coil needs to be 2mm for mtl & 3.5mm for lung hits.

In small amounts nickel wire is virtually no resistance compared to kanthal and the like hence the tag. It adds very little extra resistance when it's the legs of a coil. You could try work hardening the nickel wire to make it more springy

Printed Dna200 squonker, very nice Might have a go as I'm having to drip constantly, just make sure You fit the biggest juice bottle you can, they drink like a V12. By the time that lazy but gets round to building it I should have a decent stash of juice Seriously though @windows I don't get paid till September so don't start rushing

You won't get one for less than the price of the clone origen I think I paid £15 for a pair but that was over a year ago now.

Not sure glen got a feeling I've seen a bell cap on ft, but that might be cr-p! Nope, not crap but diminished juice capacity. I bought 5 of em and they all work fine with zero leaks. www.fasttech.com/p/2302800Well worth it if you want a smaller size, not worth it if you get through a lot of juice

You could try re-installing the driver Tried that too, even tried installing some older versions of the driver. For now it's sunglasses and a rapidly draining battery Definitely sounds like a driver issue Is there no software suite from the manufacturer that will give you the functions? Mine is fine using the windows adjuster but the keyboard light adjuster buttons have stopped working. That'll probably be fixed in time as manufacturers respond to windows 10 Edit- just fixed the buttons in keyboard properties - God knows why, I never use them
