I'm running a Vamo v2 with 18350 and a protank at 2.2 ohms at the mo. I get about 7am - 3pm on my battery running at 8w. I'm in an office so pop out for my vape breaks so that's not continuous. Not sure if you've worked out how to switch to watts, so just in case you hold down both small buttons until it changes. If I run a 18650 battery I easily get a full day out of it Hope that helps a bit :-) Thank you, gapy360, I have learned so much this morning, I think I am going to love my Vamo even more now I know how to use it properly

Best advice I have for a Vamo is to set the Ohms Watts to 7.0 and forget about the volts as it will sort that for you. As you adjust the Ohms Watts up and down to find your sweet spot the Vamo will automatically adjust the Volts to compensate. Every atty I have apart from one RBA is sweet somewhere between 6.5 and 7.5 Ohms Watts. A great help raid2506 I had 'just' about reached that conclusion from watching the video but you put it into words in a way that makes even more sense to me, thanks so much! Sal

Its normally a green light for fully charged, you can check the voltage of the battery fresh off the charger. pop it into the vamo, switch it on then press the small left button and if its fully charged it should show 4.1 - 4,2 Volts. This is quite a good guide to using one: Thanks markm that's a great help, really useful video, I think I will be watching it more than once!

Nitecore i2 has three solid orange bars for fully charged. Thank you raid2506, that's really helpful

"You should bear in mind though, that you are puffing away for 2 solid hours out of that 6 hours you are mentioning. That's a lot of vaping in my opinion. So you may well find that your Vamo is functioning correctly, your just a heavy vaper. In which case, higher mAh batts will help, but I still wouldn't be expecting miracles." i have an MVP with a puff counter, and i laugh, one good vape and it registers 12 puffs! think they have small lungs in china, norm few puffs every few mins for me 18350 will last maybe 4-6 hours, but also depends on batts, torchys 850mah ones dont last long the grey ones i got with vamo are 900 last longer, its also to d0 with chemistry of battery, cheap made not long expensive maybe bit longer: low ohm heads coils etc like 1.6 will kill a battery quick,if i remember it works opposite higher resistance less volts used lower more volts as it heats quicker, plus as said depends on how you vape to, holding button down say while vaping once before you take next one [if you do] your draining it,also if you go to the rebuildable ie aga etc watch how fast juice goes lol bigger mah will help in long run Thank you andy01424, I think i need to take more notice of things like ohms!! thank you for your help Sal

Hi, That's how I do it. I assume that is correct as when I check the voltage on the Vamo, they are at 4.0-4.1 volts. That's the reading I'm getting too so I shall carry on as I am Personally I keep my Vamo in wattage mode. That way you do not need to adjust when you change heads, in order to keep the same vape. Your heads might have different resistances, so if you keep the Vamo in Wattage mode it will adjust the voltage automatically to give you the same power, and theoretically, the same vape, regardless of the head you put on. Perfect, that makes complete sense to me, I will change to wattage mode from now on, thank you very much.Yes, the higher the mAh, the longer they will last. I am not entirely sure how long mine last if I'm honest. I have 3 different devices at the moment, and they all get used on rotation for different amounts of time. And to add to that, I sometimes run the Vamo in 18350 mode. But in 18650 mode it generally lasts me over a day. I generally vape 3-4ml at around 4-5 watts, on a protank. So that should give an indication on how much use it gets. I probably use about the same amount of juice, definitely no more than that, hmmmm, maybe I was accidentally changing the volts more than I realised. I bought these for my Vamo : www.fasttech.com/p/1141104Which are excellent batteries. But they are protected, which is not needed. Also, while they fit my Vamo perfectly, they do not fit in my SID as they are too wide. So I bought these too : www.fasttech.com/p/1233700They are also great. But not had them long, and don't use them in my Vamo, although they also fit perfectly, but they are batts for my SID. You should bear in mind though, that you are puffing away for 2 solid hours out of that 6 hours you are mentioning. That's a lot of vaping in my opinion. So you may well find that your Vamo is functioning correctly, your just a heavy vaper. In which case, higher mAh batts will help, but I still wouldn't be expecting miracles. xs2man thank you so much for your help, you've made a lot of things much clearer. I will try all you have suggested and think a bit more about how much I am vaping, maybe I have over estimated! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply, thank you. Sal

I hope you are not all sick of my questions! I bought this link and I'm really pleased with it but have noticed that I am not getting anywhere near the battery life that some others are getting! I don't think I vape particularly heavily, I tend to use it for 20 mins then put it down for an hour and don't touch it sort of thing. I'm getting maybe 6 hours from one battery and it seems most people are getting a lot more than that. I wonder if I am doing something wrong! The charger I got with the kit (a Nitecore i2) didn't have much in the way of instructions, so I've been charging the battery until all the lights are orange and have stopped flashing - does anyone know if that's right?! Also I am a bit of a dimwit regarding watts and volts I really don't understand which of the two I should be altering and when, at the moment it says it is on volts and I don't change it much, it's usually on somewhere between 3 and 3.5. Any help with this in words of one syllable would be fab! My (intellectual and somewhat impatient) electrical engineer brother tried to explain but it went straight over my head - he's not a vaper so I'm not sure he even understood what I was asking The batteries I got in the kit are 2150 mAh, if I get higher mAh will they last longer? Sorry for all the questions and I'm not even sure I've remembered to ask all I wanted to know!! Many thanks to anyone who even read it all!!

I bought the same kit Village idiot formerly tjlumle but I am only getting maybe 6-8 hours at most from the batteries, maybe I am doing something wrong? I didn't think I vaped particularly heavily!
