I have a bit of an obsession with Joosejuice Gingerbread at the moment, it's very flavoursome and quite 'different'.

Thanks for that Sal. I will get Mr Dolly to have a look when he comes home as I can't bend down. I hope it is something as simple as your dog had. It really is so bad that I can smell it when I am literally 6ft away from her. It's disgusting. Seems to have got much worse in the last week. I hope so too, it was so bad with my boy I couldn't even bear to have him in the car with me! Poor boy, but it was so easily sorted and I have mentioned it to a few other people since who've found their dogs have it too. My current dog who is the son of the one who had the original problem is also a bit prone to it but keeping the area clean keeps it in check. You dog does sound very similar to how it was with mine.

My lab had very smelly breath, it started very suddenly and we tried all the teeth cleaning etc to no avail. It was vile, really, really rank!Turned out he had developed a bacterial infection in the folds of skin by his mouth (lip-fold dermatitis) - I'd never even heard of it - quick blast of antibiotic cream and it was quickly sorted and just needed cleaning afterwards from time to time. I hope it is something as simple as that. Have a look if she will let you, I think you'll know if it is that by the smell when you are looking, if you think it might be, clean the area with some warm water with a few drops of tea tree oil in, and see if it helps - fingers crossed!

Hi Sal, Nice review, how do they compare to other fruit concs you've tried? And which other brands have you tried? I need fairly strong flavours it seems! dinamic22 mentioned a pomegranate flavour that I'm keen to try, and I've been browsing the website looking at other stuff. Cheers Rich Hi Rich, I am really pleased with these concentrates, I have tried loads of others (TPA, Capella, Inawera, LT, Lorann etc) and have to say they are up there with all of them in terms of strength, if not stronger. The flavours seem more 'natural' than some I've tried, the lime is beautiful, very crisp, the ginger is wonderful, exactly like root ginger. I only mixed my testers at 10% and they are all strong enough for me, whereas I'd use 15 or 20% with some other makes. The bottles are bigger too so they don't seem to go down fast at all, I made 200ml ginger for a friend yesterday and it looks like hardly any has gone! I would have used more than a 10ml bottle with the concentrate I used before.

poodlenoodle you are so right! There are some wonderful members who have put a lot of work into making brilliant guides on here. They are so easy to follow that even a dimwit like me can now recoil stuff without any difficulty!

I've just had a look and there is no label on mine I got chatting to the lady in the shop and I'm fairly sure she said they were as good as turtle mats, might be worth having a look locally? It was a little independent shop, not a big chain.

I bought something similar locally Karma but didn't pay anything like that much, I was a bit dubious as it's a very lightweight mat (can go in the washing machine no problem) but it's amazing. I've had mine a few years and it's as good as new and saves a lot of muddy pawprints. Mine was certainly less than a tenner though from a local carpet supply place.

Well done intelicide! I have to say the lovely mods on this forum DO go a long way towards making this place what it is, BUT I have had just as much fantastic help and advice from our lovely boys too
