All I've read about dna40 is that it is going to be a big advancement. I can't watch long youtube vids, it drives me nuts and I've got the attention span of a goldfish some days.
Briefly what is going to be the big advancement over normal variable wattage ? I read someone mention temp control.

igual it's a woven, hessian backed I think they used to call it. Getting underneath isn't going to be easy it's pretty much in the middle. I might have to bite the bullet and ring a carpet fitter. I'm sure a good one should have the tools for the job, I just could do without it this month. Jay

sammy13 I've had scar tissue tattooed over very effectively. You wouldn't know the scars were ever there. I had a fight with a grinder and came a sorry second, it jammed and kicked back at me, bounced down my arm with a flap disc in. I didn't feel a thing but the chap next to me felt rather I'll. I suppose it depends on the amount of tissue damage and how much the surface of the skin is deformed as to what you can have done, but it can be done. Jay

Well I got in tonight to a sorry looking son. He's managed to fall off the computer chair the arms broken and put a tear in the living room carpet.
Google is my friend and it seems it can be repaired with carpet seam tape and a carpet seam iron. Flipping expensive stuff to buy and I can't afford a new carpet for the sake of a 2" tear but it will fray and get worse if left.
Advice appreciated.

robby Ripshod on the clouper website it states it can be used with 18500 or 18650 battery. It also says "it come with 18650/18500 sized tube" To me this isn't perfectly clear and could mean the main body housing the chip and controls is in fact in line with an 18500 tube size and the 18650 tube can be used also. However the housing could be 18650 size and it's just letting you know you can still use the 18500, don't think that would look so good or be practical. Confused yet ? I am. www.cloupor.com/zna50-50w-mod-made-by-cloupor-for-sale

smarties I'm with you on that. I think designs like this are sort of marmite but the skulls and such that are on any mod remind me of warning signs. Wasn't there a cig warning with the grim reaper at one point. What a genius idea from the creator of the original. Jay

I'm not real sure of the benefits of sub ohming but there must be something, I'd love it explaining, not all the ins and outs of sub ohming but why it appeals so much to alot of people.
I see vaping not just as a cessation method now but as an interest/hobby aswell. I could have managed with a spinner and an evod and mail order juices if I'm absolutely honest but I've got a couple of VW devices and a nemesis, a couple of drippers, quite a few clearo/tanks, various concentrates for mixing and plenty of wire and wicking materials for building. It seems the more involved you are with the interest/hobby side of it the more likely you are to look into the various methods of vaping, sub ohming being one of them. It doesn't appeal to me though (for now) I'm quite happy with a kayfun built at 1.6ohms full of home made red astaire tooting at around 8/9 watts.
I keep looking at box mods now though, and the way they're being produced if I decided to try one it will probably be 30/50w+ capable of firing 0.2ohm. What's the next step after that ? probably going low ohms.

I handled one of these today and I have to say It's really small for what it delivers but for me there were a couple of negatives. First and foremost my infinity kfl clone wouldn't fire "no attomiser" apparently. Obviously the 510 wasn't making contact. And it was nipped down with no visible gap. Secondly, and this is just my OCD, the overhang !! Nope I just couldn't live with it.

The vg listed below same as the one you linked is dated 20/09/2014 on a 2 litre vg if you scroll through the pics. Maybe he reuses pics it might be an idea if I decide to buy to ask the minimum use by date I would receive and if he decants larger quantities into smaller vessels himself, and if he labels himself. m.ebay.co.uk/itm?itemId=171066493752Jay

Do these stand up ok in 18650 with a large tank ? For example a KFL . They do mate. The weight is in line with the battery tube the actual DNA housing is really light so doesn't affect the balance. Hope jester doesn't mind me answering as I know he works odd hours being an odd bloke Doing odd things I wonder ?

Probably a little late but this is a bit of advise I would give anyone even if they were a mechanic. If your looking for a specific car and you have your heart set on that car join a forum related to it before you buy. Theres loads of them not just brand but model specific forums. Be nice search the problem boards and introduce yourself. If your not familiar already with the specific car your thinking of buying start a what to look out for when buying thread. Most cars will have a common fault list. Newer ones especially as they're full of elec-trickery and needless gadgetybobs. Many problems can be driveway easy fixes but can be used to your advantage. I managed to get £400 off a 2k car for a common fault that could be fixed in less than half an hour with a screwdriver, wire cutters and a connector block. It was advertised as priced to sell, no offers or words to that effect. Thing is I'd have paid 2k at the time but chanced my arm as this particular common fault seemed very common and stuck in my head. sammy13 what do you currently drive ? Jay
