.....can anyone enlighten me as to why, please? As I've never had this before & when I say tight, I mean really tight. ??? had the same problem faulty base bought new ones from ivapour-elixer.co.uk air holes in wrong place new one solved problem hope this helps protank have changed the design of their new heads thats why you are getting a tight draw you need the new base to solve the problem it solved it for me on a protank 2 i have serveral protanks so i bought new ones for them all all working spot on
